have you tried Philips?

almost same PQ as Sony but a lot cheaper when it comes to electricity consumption

What particular Sony model came out as replacement to the DBM60? I got 2 sets of the DBM60 and it's pretty nice indeed - good enough for HD DVD viewing! Got the 1st one in June 2006 for about 40K, the 2nd set last Dec for 32K.

CRT TV prices are getting lower and lower these days.. My officemate bought a 29" JVC crt tv at Abenson for 23K; he checked last week and its now down to 17K

i can't recall the model that my officemate bought...

For me though, am very satisfied with Philips CRT tvs, and as what sir clumsy posted, their units' power consumption is very low compared to other brands. Matipid sa kuryente

tested some of the 29 inchers in SM the slimfit and conventional models and found out that for me the IMHO best picture still is sony second is jvc both are non slim fit models but that's me

tested the tvs using avia and played some test disc...

Hello boys, this is my first post.

i just got myself a 29" samsung k40MQ, Php16,995 and hooked it up sa samsung HT Q20. I initially asked the samsung rep kung ano difference nya sa newest model that sells for 24,995, sabi nya very slight power consumption and black shiny front panel, and i dont think that will cost 8k more. so far happy naman ako, it maybe a bit inferior sa sony pero i dont think that slight difference is valuedat 8k at least.=0

just sharing.=)

sure no problem. tanong ko lang, sa flat panel thread, 2 stores in trinoma & shangri-la sell their lcd and plasma tvs significantly cheaper than SM and other appliance stores. For crt TVs wala ba tayo cheaper sources na mapagbibilhan na mas mura?

since i got my tv and HID last july, 2 officemates ko an na influence ko to also have their own mini HT.

1st officemate got the latest 29" Slimfit Sammy at Abenson's Eastwood, retails for 24,995 add 5k for the x20 HTIB, i was able to lower the price to 28k, this was last 1st week of december

2nd officemate also got the same package, at anson's makati, for 27k.

might consider getting a jvc for cable viewing because i saw a catalog sa automatic center and it has (PiP)picture in picture. di ko lang sure kung 2 tuners or yung isang picture is for dvd only

pards add 5k for the HTIB ka jan. pero you can get for 27k, both tv and HTIB, btw, its abenson's pala not anson's. sa anson's 27.5k.

also, my friend got the newest version/model ng htib nila, 800watts na, the original x20 is just 600watts.

I don't think that there's a 21 incher TV with PIP features, got a JVC 29 inch flat TV and it too doesn't have PIP feature on it, for recommendation, hmmm kahit naka JVC ako I might go for samsung if I were to buy a 21 inch flat TV, ganda kasi nung itsura nya..
