According nga dun sa brochure nila, upcoming pa lang yung mga newer models which carry better features.  These are the D-series .  with 24P True Cinema the 24 progressive images are displayed as they should be, in the same sequence as the original film source.  Kumbaga 24 images per second according to the features discussed.

It also has the MOTIONFLOW 120HZ( high frame rate+Motion compensation) and the ACE (advance contrast enhancer).

available na D series here in Singapore. about 300 singapore dollar difference sa V 32" model.

i still prefer V300 though kasi 32" lang naman plano ko bilhin this December.

even the native resolution of the screen is 1366x969, the BRAVIA engine helps to upgrade the resolution of the panel,

note: meron na me 40inch na V300a (is the best)

I doubt na naguupscale yan to 1080p since ang True 1080p is 1920x1080 samantalang native resolution lang nyan is 1366x768. ???

Tip: Don't believe those salesman/dealers. They're only after your money. lol :P

naguguluhan din ako dito... Haven't seen other LCD/plasma pero yung panasonic pv70 + ps3, 1080p ang lumalabas. Is this also the case w/ other flat panels that are 1080p ready? Does an upscaled 1080p better than 1080i and 720p?

thanks for the feedbacks.

Just bought one last July, hinabol yung promo na less 25 grand free home theater pa. Got the whole thing for around 55 grand in abensons sm north edsa carpark. no complaints yet. Somehow, getting a PS3 seems feasible at the moment....

yung kasama kasi dun sa promo nila is the DAV-DZ150K.  This model has no HDMI output unlike the DAV-DZ555k.  So, I guess meron sya upscaling features yng 555k.  Yun nga lang, you have to add P6,9990 to get the better model.  :)

wait so if i get the 32V300a i need to get a player that allows upscaling to fully maximize my screen?  so di pala masyadong sulit kung yung ordinary player ko lang?  may audio out yung 32V300a?  was planning kasi to hook it up to may existing hometheater system kasi

schmuckee,

with regards to upscaling features of the HTib to maximize the use of your LCD, it will all depend on you.

Basically, since the LCD carries a higher resolution and more colors than an ordinary CRT, you should see a big difference already in the display even if you are just using only an ordinary DVD player (without upscaling).   ;D
