I use this when watching DVDs via HDMI,...

When watching cable, I settle with very low contrast and color, all 40.

The electric bill just arrived...

No HUGE increase whatsoever, it was almost the same as my last bill,
and to think I almost added a total of 200 or so hours in my viewing (105 hours breaking in)...

I'll wait for the next month's bill,...

not recommended for use as pc monitor ang plasma bcoz of burn in problems. buy an lcd instead better for gaming and as pc monitor. plasma at 50" or bigger best for viewing medieval and outer space movies w/c usually comes w/ dark scenes like (LOTR and STAR WARS).

Mediyo kalat na yung pixel sir, get a 1 meg 42pv700 or 2 meg plasma 42py700.

Don't let the sensational headline turn you off or anything.. but this quote might be of interest to future Panny buyers...

still 1024x768... don't think there are any 42" plasma with 720p resolution (50" plasma have)... funny eh, specially when panny does 42" 1080p (py700/800)

what i heard its 1024 pa din and contrast to be exact 15,000 true w/sd card input na. yung 30,000 nila is the 42py800 series.

meron din 42pv8 - its the same wala lang sd card input.
