Caught the gala preem. Direk Jade Castro is a fellow pinoydvd member but already forgot his username. LOL!

Another worthy entry in Cinemalaya 2007 co-written by Michiko Yamamoto.

Jessica Zafra loved this film! Congratulate Raymond Lee and the rest of UFO Pics right after the screening at CCP Main Theatre. I wish I could take the pics but Raya Martin warned me already!

Liked this film also. So far its GULONG, LIGAW LIHAM, ENDO and PISAY on my top lists, in order.

My bet for Best Actor and Actress respectively this coming Sunday at the CCP, Jason Abalos and Ina Feleo. Ina might tie also with Karylle for LIGAW LIHAM.

Impossible to ignore. Jade Castro's digital film debut boasts of impressive performances from his entire cast most notably Jason Abalos & Ina Feleo as Leo and Tanya. Coined as a term for end of contract, (ENDO) focus on the problems plaguing our labor laws centered on a breadwinner single man named Leo and his relationships with his family and how he cope up also with relationships to other women. His match was equalled when she meets Tanya played superbly by Ina Feleo. With no pretensions, straight focus story, it also deals with some social commentaries thrown in like the labor law problems, premarital sex and relationships with family and friends. Michiko Yamamoto carved again an amazing script to her credit aside from MAGNIFICO, ANG PAGDADALAGA NI MAXIMO OLIVEROS, although she she co-wrote it with Raymond Lee and Jade Castro. Abalos has metamorphosed into one of the finest actors of his generation expressing such deep and great range lacking in countless actors plaguing the industry. His breakdown scene is enough to generate attention. Truthful and honest, ENDO crosses again the boundaries of what greatness is all about with simple characters and less expensive scope.

a very interesting film with a star making performance by Ina Feleo. Jason Abalos was at least able to hold his own beside his brilliant co-star. able support was also given by Ricky Davao and Alchris Galura. i never knew that ENDO meant end of contract until i saw this picture...

Jason and Ina were both brilliant. I want this indie film reach more audience. It was on the film catalogue of Cinemanila but didn't finish again for MTRCB's review that's why it was not shown.

Sad but our own local films are not exempted for their reviews during Cinemanila. Pending yung iba indies. Buti umabot yung AUTOHYSTORIA, VOICES and JUAN BAYBAYIN.

The script reached 13 drafts. It was really a collaboration between Michiko Yamamoto, Raymond Lee and Jade Castro.

Michiko Yamamoto is probably one of the best screenwriters of her generation... extremely gifted. glad to see her write something entirely different from Magnifico and Maximo Oliveros...

and Ina Feleo... what an actress! i had my doubts of her bagging the Best Actress award at last month's Cinemalaya but after watching her performance in this movie, boy was i wrong! her sensitive portrayal of Tanya is the heart and soul of Endo. even in lighter moments, she is simply amazing and during her dramatic highlights, Ina shines. she possesses her mother's soulful eyes and her father's acting skills... truly an actress to watch!

Ina has both points of view and the looks to differentiate her from those bunch of brainless bombshells out there.

I wish her more good and meaty roles in the future.

Oggs, we have to debate more on the merits of many films but I learned many insights from you and X also.

napanood ko to kahapon sa glorietta 4. ang ganda! i'll never look at the jollibee service crew and delivery guys the same way again...kawawa naman sila pero ang maganda, di paawa effect ang treatment sa movie. di exploitative. napaisip tuloy ako na "how can i expect them to be involved in political movements when they're too tired drifting from one job to another?" halos dumugo ang puso ko habang nagbibilang ng barya si leo para sa pamasahe...
ang galing nga ni ina feleo at si jason abalos, ang galing pala nya. sayang konti lang kami sa sinehan.
