This is just a hobby for me so I don't really calibrate other HT systems. If you wish, send a PM to alvinthx2 (not alvinthx, iba yun). Alvin really offers audio-video calibration services.

Some beautiful shots taken by Hebrew, our master photographer. Ang hirap kunin ang mga ito cuz they are so dark:

Ang tropa:

The best shots I've seen of the front speakers:

Classy shots of the center speaker:

Rear-view of the Maestro Utopia:

Just of curiosity sir Mark and not implying anything, Have you tried Cal's cables on your system? I'm almost sure he would be willing to lend you a pair or two just to try...  ;)

Thanks Sir Mark for accommodating us yesterday. We all enjoyed your superb system; it was arrestingly good (as I expected from Utopias). It's the sixth time I've heard Utopias, but this was the first time that I've heard them in a home theater setting. The resolution and snap was truly enthralling.

I'd like to extend thanks to everyone who were there yesterday (parang andami natin) for the intelligent conversation, the fine wine, and the good food. I wish I could've stayed longer. :)

We used Cal's cables when we set up the turntable during the EB. The analog system sounded great!

Thanks for coming. After you left, one of the things we did was to use the XTZ Room Analyzer to check out the RTA, waterfall chart, etc. so we could see the before and after effect of Audyssey MultEQ room correction. Very interesting to see how the frequency response is seriously flattened by the EQ.

Thanks Mark for having us again. Too bad I had to leave early as I promised my wife to attend to several errands for the house. Even so the improvement in audio--and even video--from the last time I was at your place is such a thrill to hear and witness.

It's also amazing to see how the Denon 4311 and XT32 can "tame" and bring out the best from the Focals, which typically are more often used in a pure stereo setup.  ;D ;D ;D

Awesome collection!  ;D

Take note mga sirs, Its only a PART of the collection.  :D

If you think the speakers are humonguos, wait until you see how it sounds. I thought the subwoofers are playing when I arrived early but its only the Maestro that was doing the job. I also thought that Im in a Hifi show for a second. :D Pleasure to meet the gentlemen last saturday, gaol, dts-HD 3D, nogie, Stagea.

Thanks again for the invite sir Mark. It is really the music that intoxicates me not the red wine. ;) 'Til next time sir and more power to you!

Mabilis talaga itong si Gaol magpuri ng sarili niyang gamit. Meron na rin kasi siyang Denon 4311.  ;D ;D

The improvement in video was because I decided to change the pj lamp and then re-calibrate. Huge difference. Parang buhay talaga ang picture.

Very obvious ang improvement sa audio pero iba din pag meron visuals. Helped me understand partly, how the xt32 did the job. Kaya nakaka-addict ang tunog ng Maestros e. Thanks sir Mark!

Yes, that's when I fell in love with the Focal sound ... but those were the Focal Electras. The Maestro Utopia was in the neighboring room, driven by VTL amps. The Electras are beautiful-sounding but the Maestro is in a different class for tweeters, mid-range, woofer, soundstage, imaging ....
