Help with Pioneer DV400 Settings

How do I set this with my 32" Samsung LCD? I do not have speakers or an amp connected and its connected to the tv via hdmi.

TV Screen setting: what does 16:9 compressed do? whats the difference from 16:9 wide?
HDMI color? differences?
DTS downmix? stereo or Lt/Rt?
