The clause of precaution will always be there. It's a statement to immune the company from being sued when TV happened to break down under normal use. It's like the pamphlet comes with the medicine you purchased, the contraindication warning is to immune the drug company from being sued when the patient experiences side effects after taking the medicine.

Panasonic plasma has a zoom mode that can fill up the whole screen with letterbox movie.  

Nevertheless, watching 2 hours letterbox movie won't create image retention nor burn in on the new Panasonic plasma.

Panasonic 32C5X.. new 2012 LCD TV at P14500.
Toshiba 32PB200.. new 2012 LED model at P15500.
LG 32LK310.. old 2011 LCD TV at P12500.

LG 32LK310 is an old tech TV with no USB movie feature. At P12500., this TV seems not a bang for the buck cause adding a media player of let's say Xtreamer Elvira will add on the cost of TV to almost P15K.

Toshiba LED 32PB200 at P15500. is definitely a great buy. It even has a signal booster that will improve your cable or air TV broadcast. The negative of this TV is that it is edgelit LED, which has the same strong brightness that might be too eye hurting to some of the viewers. This TV is ideal for bright room.

Panasonic 32C5X at P14500. has the feature of USB movie, and has all the element of great picture--accurate color, deep black contrast. Its brightness is just right for the eyes. It is great for gaming and still picture viewing. If you are looking for a TV for a pleasant viewing, get this TV.
