Ayun. Simula na ng coaxial invasion! Hehehe. Really looking forward to auditioning the 10" and 12", see how they compare to the 15".

Sana nga talaga medyo magkatulad sila, ang hirap pagkasyahin nung 15" sa kwarto ko e.  :D

"Simplicity is Beauty" this cliche says it all

Thats right ;)

Pwede din "Less is More" ;D

Sabi nga ni brader Cal - the 15" coax mated with a Dared MP5 with either an iPod or the Marantz 7k cdp as a source and you'll have a very decent HiFi setup na! ;)

We even tried the 15" coax with an 8 watts SET amp - 9-10 o'clock volume levels is more than enough for a 50sqm area! :o

We have paired the ff SS/Tube amps successfully with the 15" coax:

Anthony's vintage Fisher X-100 tube amp (16 watts)

Anthony's Sakura av-200T hybrid amp (25 watts)

Jojod's BabyG Gaincard SS amp (40 watts)

JoeyGS's SS T-amp (8 watts)

Tino's ASL Leyla tube amp (22 watts)

Patrick's ASL tube amp (8 watts)

Feel free to bring any ss/tube amps to Anthony's lair to audition the coax 15" ;D

Or, if you already have a desktop or laptop pc, another route is - pc to Tamy's Super Pro 707 DAC to most any amplifier to 15" coax. Ang ganda rin ng tunog!

Its actually your preference - thats why its best to audition before you buy.

If your use is 50%HT and 50% audio, I'd lean towards "audio speakers" - thats because in HT, both left & right speakers are basically "effects" only. For me, I'd rather have a good center speaker as 90% HT content is thru the center speaker.

well said. when i upgraded my center speaker, the HT experience improved ten folds.

as i understood, paired with decent center speaker, this baby can also be equally good for HT? tama ba sir?

Not just paired with decent center speaker, but more importantly - matching.

Anthony's coax speakers are typically marketed as an audio set/pair - so unless he customizes you a smaller coax center for the 6.5", then your only options to date would be his other speakers that has a matching center speaker.

On the flipside, ordering 3 coax speakers to act as your front HT stage is another option that could be explored. Infact, one of Anthony's client used a 15" coax to act as center speaker.  :o

Ayun na, nagbabalak na uli. Hehehe. ;)

Just wanted to share, the 6.5" coax are around 30lbs. each, very hefty. I hope it scales well as I like what I hear with these bookshelves. Do I see a 15" in the future perhaps?  :)
