I was known for making customized speakers since 2001, so I have challenge myself if I can make the 2 of the rare and difficult designs of speakers that are existing in market today. One is the JBL Everest (picture below).
After 18 months of self-challenging, I came up with this one of a kind creation that I myself had learned a lot. It took more patience, determination and vision before this speaker has made. Below is my version of JBL EVEREST based on the original design and this is NOT FOR SALE. I only made this for self-learning and challenging purposes. Sharing my creation to all PDVD Diy'ers.
I used a professional software for making this. Will also share screenshots of the software (to follow). Also, I am willing to give copies of the software to be able to help those Diy'ers here.
Thank you!
I visited Anthony's Paranaque showroom. Saw and heard these JBL Everest clones. Damn! I wish I can take them home. :-) Lintek ang tunog!
The pictures you see don't do justice if you saw them with your own eyes. The finish is beautiful! And so is the sound! Full rangers with ribbon tweeters.
And we only used my laptop with a Cambridge DAC Magic XS using a Yaquin tube amp using Foobar 2000 v1.3.2 as the player. We listened to the audio extracts of the following:
1. Diana Krall's How Insensitive from the album This Moment On. 2778kbps, 96Hz FLAC
2. M.S.B from the Saor Patrol, The Stomp (Scottish Pipes and Drums) 746kbps, 44KHz FLAC
3. Jason McGuire's Bulerias 2 (Guitar) 746kbps, 44KHz, DSF (DSD)
4. Erich Kunzel, William Tell Overture (aka Lone Ranger's Theme) 551kbps, 44KHz, ALAC
If you get a chance to visit Anthony's Paranaque showroom (with him around of course), listen to these speakers. With what he has learned in building this, what speaker creations will the master come up with next? :-)
