Topic: Crank and The New Police Story are Full Screen

I got the region 3 dvds Crank (Jason Statham) and The New Police Story (Jackie Chan) over the weekend.  They're both from Viva, and they both ended up being Full Screen, unfortunately.  They aren't marked as being either Full Screen or Widescreen on the cases as far as I can see.  If they had to release them in Full Screen, I wish they would at least label them as such.

Anyway, this is a warning for anybody else searching for information about those titles, that they're Full Screen.  Thankfully I avoided getting Babel since I already read here that the quality of that disc is really bad.

Dave, as a rough guide, if you see a Viva title priced at 375 (Or below 299 when it goes on "sale"), and it does not have a Fox or Disney logo on it, then you're almost sure that this is a locally-encoded full screen DVD5 of rather poor quality.

That's the best guide to follow.
