I finally hooked up the PSB6 with my NAD 326BEE. Well what can I say? ENJOY  ;D ;D ;D! Contrary to what others may say these speakers are not bass shy at all. Love it so much for my classical/jazz/vocal music. A perfect match indeed for NAD! Now planning on the PSB 300 subwoofer for movies. Thanks Stagea and sientobente for your valuable advise mabuhay po kayo!  :)

Yup the B6 has pretty decent bass performance!   ;D  I would save up for the Subsonic 500 though.

500 must be good but I'm going for the cheaper SS300 which is powered by NAD just the same cguro. :)

I also plan to pair my image b6 with the NAD 326. I just wonder if the difference in sound quality will be noticeable if I go for the 356 (I mean is it worth the price difference)
Listening area by the way is small and I don't plan to play it too loud naman.
Hope the PSB owners can help me...
Thanks

Watts Hifi carries Yamaha master. So you can audition a PSB+Yamaha combo. Ako iniimagine  ko maganda ang pairing niyan, since yamaha has some warmth similar to NAD. Plus I consulted Ivanpedia, those are StageA certified gears  ;D

Yun lang master, masyado atang malaki ang B6 para maging surround. parang sayang. May smaller model which naman, which is the B5 or the Alpha B1.

@Carp
Master Conan is right, a 326BEE should do. I auditioned both the 326bee and the 356bee tested with 2 different sets of speakers(PSB T5 and Imagine T), sa totoo lang wala akong marinig na difference. Ang naiisip ko lang na scenario is probably the lower model would clip easily on extremely loud volumes.

I think you would feel and hear the difference when you try the impressive NAD 375BEE

As what King Master Don Ivan mentioned, maganda nga sir ang pairing ng PSB+NAD. When I first auditioned the T65 paired with the 315BEE, gandang ganda ako. Nung inupgrade sa 325BEE, it sounded a little better and it was the most balanced pairing I ever heard. Call me crazy, I even chose at that time the 325BEE + T65 pairing over a 325BEE + Synchrony. Maybe because the Synchrony wasn't powered well? I don't know but the 325+T65 has always been my benchmark  :)

Hi sir/s, I need advise again.
I've been reading about reviews on 326BEE and i read that it is toned towards the warm side. My question is if I pair it with my Image B6, will I lose detail (or is it the case)?
Will appreciate any comments on this...

Conflicting po ata ang question niyo sir. B6 is from the Image series. Ang bookshelves sa Imagine series are Imagine B and Imagine Mini.

Got to listen to the KEF Q7, Monitor Audio RS8 and PSB T6 earlier using the same equipment: NAD 326BEE + Musiland 03 DAC + Don Master StageA's ultramegahighend laptop . RCAs were Supra and I think the speaker cable was van den hul clearwater(?).

First off, I'd like to commend the Musiland DAC. Night and day difference, running with or without it. The sound became heavier and more pronounced. Details are expressed better with it. Definitely something in my must-have wishlist.

I'm including excerpts(not in verbatim) from some of our multibillionaire audio gurus which I had the pleasure to be in the same room as theirs earlier.
KEF Q7: What was impressive with KEF was the sweetspot was almost everywhere. Unlike regular speakers where the sound changes when you switch to a different position, the KEF doesn't. Was it the tweeter design? Or how it was integrated in the coax? I forgot the explanation of our resident highest-fi guru StageA but you get the point. Those KEFs were excellent.

Monitor Audio RS8: Laid back sounding compared to the 2. Polite. More focused approach. The shop owner mentioned that they tried it with their big-ass tube amp, and said it sounded better paired with that compared to the ss amp we were using.

PSB T6: Got more bass than the two. Sounded more balanced. What I like most about these speakers is, it's very easy to power.

Thank you, Master Gerard. That was the KEF iQ70. It actually sounded better with the Musiland 01, in a configuration that you weren't able to hear. It was certainly enjoyable, pleasant and reasonably detailed, if a touch warm. The 01 and the 03 carry different sonic signatures. As with any system, synergy matters more than each individual component. We tested the 01 after you went upstairs.

Thanks for correcting me Master, iQ70 pala. And the one in your gear collection was the iQ90 right? Sayang I wasn't able to listen to the Musiland 01 kasi nagbabayad pa ako ng utang kay sir Rex  :D but I'm sure it will be as impressive as the 03 and that description of the 01 makes me really want to audition it.  :)

Break-in period for my NAD 356...woohoo!!!! I don't know how to describe the sound...I would say makapal and malambing if that's even the right way to describe it
I know the 326 would be just enough for my Image B6...kaya lang when I had the chance to listen to the Imagine B sa shop, sobrang sarap pakinggan (in other words, as early as now that I am enjoying the image b6, I'm already wishing for the Imagine B...sana may magbenta sa marketplace ;D ;D :D)
Thanks to sir Stagea for your advise
