yes. it mates well with my rotel.

kaya naman i-drive ng 60 watter ko yung 4-ohm load ni synchrony. it never goes hot nga eh, unlike sa dynaudio ko dati. the synchrony is fairly easy to drive i suppose.

my 326bee powers my Image T6 and it does so with ease. you can also try an Alpha T1 or an Image T5. all these towers and the amp are available in What Hifi so you could try them out

Great article Sir Arn! Enjoyed reading it. What I like about Paul Barton is his openness to reveal the build construction of his speakers. He and Nelson Pass are the best audio designers I admire. The subseries 300 pala can go 21Hz on -6db. Hope they would publish a frequency response graph about it

You are correct. Please check the blue plot for the Subseries 300's quasi-anechoic response measurement.

+/-3dB in that plot is about 22-170Hz.

I "heard" that Direct Mode or Pure Direct modes on a AVReceiver can have better sounding Audio/Music.

What entry/mid tier receivers do you guys recommend for my Alpha B1?

Actually Direct Mode will sound good if your source has an excellent dac because this mode bypasses the receiver's own processing and goes straight to the output. If you are going to use a regular dvd-player, you might be disappointed with the result. A dedicated cdp might produce a better output. As for Pure Audio, I believe this just turns off the video processing of the avr but still retains the audio processing chain within the avr.

Im not sure kung similar ang tunog nang alpha sa image line... But all i can say is im enjoying the image with my yamaha receiver...music and movies..

Nung nasa watt hifi ako auditioning my t6 and c5, b1 yung naka connect sa surrounds and they are amazing...
