The source is for me, the most important part of the chain. As they say - Garbage in, garbage out.

This is most evident if you have a transparent system :)

Guess lang, I think the laptop gave the better SQ ;) hula lang :D

I do believe that too. The 375bee is very revealing of sources too. I can easily distinguish the differences between a Nad375dac, musiland03, and a musical fidelity v90. Kaya nga plan ko nalang is get a real good dac either naim dac v1 or nad m51 in the very near future :)

Laptop is more than a lot better than using the C200. Ang layo ng difference.. Naging Dull ang tunog ng system using the C200. Di maganda ang detail, bass and soundstage using the C200. I guess pang movie lang talaga sya. Akala ko pa naman pwede ko gamitin dedicated music player..

Maganda ang REGA DAC di ka mag sisisi pramis....

Yung M51 nasa 80k sa US kaya pangarap.. Actually di ko pa nadidinig yan... though maganda nga reviews..

Pero kung ganda din lang.. Maganda talaga ang REGA...

Yun originally plano ko, get a Rega DAC ang be over with it. Kaso naisip ko mangangati ulit ako nun and i've been planning on going separates din for my amplification. So naisip ko, yung gagastusin ko sa preamp in the future, invest ko nalang sa DAC na pwedeng gawing pre-amp, hence those 2 options :)

Nagbabasa ako ngayon ng reviews ng NAD M51 Direct Digital DAC sa isang head-fi.org at ang ganda ng mga reviews.  When you revealed to me the price of this mighty DAC my enthusiasm suddenly disappears hehehe.  I have a lot of questions in mind regarding DAC before deciding to get one.

ANg mahal ng 2 options mo he he he.... Sa pangarapo ko lang options yan he he he... Anyway i'm sure matagal kang liligaya alin man sa dalawang option ang piliin mo... Pero boto ako sa NAD kasi NAD addict ako he he he

Padala mo nalang sa akin brader hehehe.  Kinukulam mo na naman ako.  It's because of you that I got my NAD and PSB combo in no time but I am very happy with it.  Seriously, I am considering this DAC.

Brader, Source ko kasi is Laptop and NAD CD Player.. yung entry level..

Flexible kasi laptop, i can play any music and as much music i want without worrying on CD's.. Yung CD player ko naman, i use on a few collections that i have.. I use more my laptop as i have around 40k plus collections on FLAC, MP3, APE and WAVS.. I also have some 24/96 and 24/192 files that i use for testing he he he

Ha ha ha.... Muntik na ako mag attempt na kumuha ng M51 but checking with what i have... i'm more than happy with the result SQ wise so di ko na naisip mag spend ulit for upgrade.. Simula nung na kontento na ako di ko na ulit naisip gumastos sa Audio he he he...

Hoy Derick,

Nilabas ko na ang Audio setup ko sa Sala.. so i'm using my T6 for Audio and using my B6 as fronts for my HT. Tapos surrounds, i'm just using those surrounds that came with Mini compo... yung Back surround ko dati nung nag punta kayo he he he... Panalo pa din... Thats the reason i'm looking for stands for my B6

Pareho lang tayo ng source brader.  I also have a sony viao laptop and a Nad C515bee cd player.  Wala lang akong collections ng songs kagaya mo.  When you sell the asus laptop in the MP gusto ko sanang bilhin yon kasi may laman ng mga songs collection mo kaso medyo tight sa budget that time.

Isa din sa mga choices ko dati yang Rega DAC at Nad M51. Cons lang ng Rega ay yung USB input nya since it supports 16bit 48kHz below lang.

Yup.. thats the reason i bought the Music Fidelity Vlink 192..USB-Digital converter.. so i can play my hi res file from my laptop to rega dac using coaxial interface
