Try to audition first sir if you will like the pairing with tubes. For me, Bookshelves with ribbon tweeters are a match with tubes, like Aurum Cantus V2M, LSA 1 Statement, MA GX50 etc.

Hmm. Some of our fellow hobbyists here have tried tubes with PSB with great results (according to them). I personally haven't tried tubes with PSB because I firmly believe that these speakers require adequate power. If you are pursuing using low powered amps, I'd suggest the Alpha and Image bookshelf series. The Imagine and Sychrony series will require a great deal of hairy balls from your amp.

I was at LIS kanina and listened to PSB Synchrony One powered by Shanling stp-80..

I tried bi-amping using my CA and NAD amps on my T6 but I didn't find any significant changes in the sound.

To get the full effects of biamping, i suggest you use An active crossover, but that means opening the enclosure and actually disabling the pAssive crossover... Something thats not for everybody.

You can try if you have the extra wire... But i doubt there will be any significant change, if meron man, minimal. You can try to instead, just replace the bridges with a good gauged wire, again, with minimal improvements, however small, is still a possible improvement.

I just tried replacing the bridges, and it altered the sound based on what I hear.

Mas naemphasize e.g. mga reverb sa recording song like Paglisan (CD Mix, Hand Painted Sky CD track 14) and Angel (320 KBPS, Sarah Mchlaclan).

Mas gumanda movies imho lalo na mga ambient/surrounding sound with the dialogs. (stereo lang)

i did this too....w/ marantz and onkyo,(direct mode) no improvements but the speaker position.

Bought a new stand for the Synchrony. This stand is heavier, more solid and has a wider Base plate..

Aurum Cantus Speaker stands for Leisure 2 SV yan bro.. Medyo pricey pero solid and pulido naman pagkakagawa.. and mabigat sya.. pansin mo walang Top plate kung saan pinapatong ang speakers? tinanggal ko kasi masyado mataas for PSB he he he.. pero malapad pa din naman ang patungan ng speakers, nilagyan ko na lang ng madaming Blu Tak
