Got my Imagine T and Imagine C from Watt Hifi lastnight. Thanks to Rex for a sweet deal. However, will it be soon before the Imagine T is faced out? It has been out in the marker for 5 years. Hmmmmm...

Congrats on your purchase brader. Imagine series of PSB are good sounding speakers and earned a lot of positive reviews. I don't think the Imagine series will be phased out in the market.

I noticed the port of the Imagine C to be sticky. If you back read, you will see other reports of the same problem. Parang natutunaw na malagkit. But my T's do not have this problem. Reported to Rex and promised he will replace this Tuesday. Buti nalang may support from Watts Hifi.

Ive seen psb ports to be sticky, yung rubber dun sa ports even with synchrony.... Kahit yung display sa watts hi fi.. Pag high humidity yan daw ang effect with that kind of rubber...

Nope. Known issue na yan in this forum. Wala naman complaint of SQ degredation. Isa pa ang layo nyan sa crossover parts and drivers to make any impact.

Wala naman impact sa sound pero syempre i want my moneys worth. Meron naman units like my Imagine Ts na hindi malagkit so why not get another unit. The box also looked re-sealed. Baka binalik nato ng ibang buyers.

I agree with you, and if i'm in your case i would ask for replacement as well, but what i'm saying is may possibility na mangyari ang ganyan sa speakers pag nagtagal due to humidity. If your room is humid then later on it will happen, but again no worries as it doesnt affect SQ..

I have PSB synchrony and Image Speakers with same rubber material so far ok pa naman the Image is been with me for 2 years. I saw a synchrony and same image speakers with sticky rubber

I don't know if it is just me but I think this problem is random or newer stocks do not have this problem. Mukhang re-sealed yung center ko eh. Baka may iba nag balik. Sana the new center Rex will give to me tomorrow doesn't have this annoying sticky port.

Newer stocks and sealed units will not have that issue simply because it's not exposed to high humidity and heat.

The demo units of the Imagine speakers I auditioned also had sticky rubber ports, may mga nakadikit pa na mga fibers (I'm assuming from cloth rags).

The rubber on my two-year old Imagine speakers is not sticky (knock on wood), maybe because the room they are placed in is not humid at all.

@Lancito, kung mahilig kang magtanggal-kabit ng speaker grills, alalayan mo yun cloth na nakakabalot sa metal grills. Dahil mabigat yun grills and manipis yung cloth, may tendency na yung gilid ng cloth matanggal sa pagkadikit sa grill kung madalas nagagalaw young grill.

A humid and hot room will make those rubber sticky.. lalo na yung room na malamig na malamig pag may AC tapos pag patay mo ng AC magiging Humid...

The ports on my Imagine T are not sticky at all kaso yung center malagkit talaga. I requested for a replacement right away. Bukas ko pa makukuha. Regarding the grills, hindi naman ako mahilig magtanggal ng grills kaya hopefully hindi matanggal yun cloth. Salamat sa tips.

Well yung synchrony ko nasa sala, sobrang init dun lalo na pag tanghali pero di naman humid.. So far hindi pa naman sticky yung ports sa likod..

gamit po nila idol courage and sir armymanhaha is a nad 150wpc. the synchrony needs good enough current. with lesser amps, it will sound anemic.
