I thinks its a great sale, there are a lot of new titles there that can avg. out around 18 dollars. Titles like bee movie, sweeney todd, romancing the stone, Drillbit taylor, etc. Its worth it imo bec these titles never hit 18 bucks. If you mix and match it some can avg. around 15 dollars. Like Transformers (24.95) and two other 19.95 films. Our disadvantage is really the shipping, for we are overseas. People in america are soooo lucky

. Problem with these kind of sale is that I always end up spending more bec. I wanna take advantage of the shipping, so instead of just ordering 3 discs will end up with 6 or 9 discs

, which ends up increasing my avg to 18 to 20 dollars.

. Those were really the good old days. Recently have been contemplating if I should get some hddvds for just 9.99.

Some titles I'm thinking of getting are Daylight, What dreams may come, Spy game, American werewolf in london, and some others not yet on blu.

With my existing two HD DVD players, I will not hesitate to get extra "bargain" HD DVD (only those not available in BD)....but that's just me.

Today I was shredding some docs from my orders long time ago

..Best deals imo was in the 4th quarter of 2007, the discs I bought are all averaging around 10 to 14 dollars

, plus the additional 10 percent discount pa amazon gives at that time.

. How I wish there is still a hddvd and blu-ray war

whenever someone from the US is going home, I usually order used, like-new BDs for less than $10 shipped already to the US address.. that way I really get good quality BDs at a very low price.. In fact some used BDs are really cheaper than its DVD counterpart..

Where do you buy used BDs? As much as possible, I try to avoid ordering used BDs from the Amazon marketplace. Some of the discs I ordered before were not as described.

I highly doubt that B1G1 Blu-rays will ever be back. Without HD DVD as their competition, they don't need to entice consumers as much.

I order from the Amazon marketplace but I choose only used, like-new items and from sellers with 98% or higher rating and thousands of transactions at that..

Same here, I had ordered quite a number & so far no problem. All discs & cases are in good condition.

Thanks a lot Toy..Ya its a good thing I did not order these for 9.99 couple weeks back. I went ahead and got 13 movies

.. Even stupid movies I went ahead and got it. 5.99 basta hidef

..Most worth it imo are combo discs for you can play it in your dvd player no matter what
