Can you suggest kung saang  philips service center na mahusay magrepair ng Plasma TV, need to repair mine imported from UK, no picture pero may sounds naman. tia.

Hi! kung galing sa UK ang plasma mo malamang PAL system ang tuner nyan kaya walang picture or black and white...sana yung AV input ng unit Multi-system para magamit mo pa rin.

Kung multi-system ang AV input gamitan mo na lang Cable Converter (RF to AV signal) para mapanooran mo ng cable signal... Malabong ma-convert ang tuner circuit kasi kadalasan sa mga TV from Europe Digital na ang Tuner...

Try mo din tumawag sa call center ng Philips for consultation..

Sir try mo po yung tuner set up manual then switch from pal to ntsc. . .  Wag po kyo mag auto set up sa tuner mag manual ka, matagal lang po pero i think its worth the try. Then i memory mo nlang po. Just trying to help.

Thanks for replies, actually bago dato dalhin d2 e may diperensya n mahal daw pagawa sa uk kaya pinadala n lang d2 hoping n mas mura ang pagawa. I dont have it yet mga end of february p kaya nag iinquire n ko ng best philips service center.

i have the same problem with my Phillips.  No video, just audio.  i was just watching when all of a sudden the video gos poof.
the repair center said the Y board should be replaced and is charging around 30k.  my unit is  42" plasma, 1 and a half years old.

Hi. I would like to ask where I can have my Philips Plasma TV repaired.  Is there a Philips Service Center in Metro Manila, preferably in the Manila and Makati area, where I can have my unit fixed?

At first, my unit does not have a sound for a few minutes after I turn it on. 

Then suddenly, the unit does not turn on in the morning.  I still have to wait a few minutes after I shut down my AC before I can watch TV. ( I guess the moisture from my room AC is what causes this).   

Then just yesterday, the unit does not turn on anymore.  I dont hear the click anymore when I press the power switch.  The small lamp at the bottom left just turns green from red but no click, no sound and no picture.

Would appreciate your help in finding a good and inexpensive repair center (preferably with home service).

I know this thread is kind of old but I hope I can help those guys wanting to have their philips plasma repaired.  I had my plasma repaired at Maekatronics in Pasig.  Telephone number is 640-0648.  Oh BTW this shop is an authorized Philips service center and they take good care of the units being repaired.

there is also one in makati. authorized service center din. i think exclusively philips pa nga yata. forgot the name and exact place lang. i had my philips pixel plus crt tv serviced there and so far ok pa naman hanggang ngayon. no charge since it was covered with an extended warranty.
