Jason Kidd now confirmed to be a Mav...New Jersey will receive the semi-retired Keith Van Horn in addition to Trenton Hassell, as well as Devin Harris, Sagana Diop, Maurice Ager, two first-round picks and cash. Dallas will get Kidd and Malik Allen.

Ah ok. I stand corrected.

I still have mixed feelings about the Shaq trade. On one hand, I'd be so happy if it explodes in Phoenix's face. Para LA can get the best of Phoenix after the last few years' of frustrations.

On the other hand, I like Shaq. He is such a goofy guy, and always fun to watch. Very even tempered too, considering the abuse he took over the years (double standard sa kanya because it always seemed as if even the strongest shove or foul never affected him). It would be nice if he ends his career on a bright note (not a championship, pero at least di naman as humiliating as all the things being said of him prior to the trade).

Pero from what I can recall of the few games I've watched him play, he can't jump as high, he's not as quick, he misses point blank shots, he still can't shoot free throws, he doesn't rebound as well, he doesn't play much defense (but then again, so does the entire suns team)...ano nga kaya? i'll definitely watch a Suns game every opportunity I can get. abangan!

BTV website has a different game on their sked. Hoping they are flexible on their sked, kasi delayed yung sa ABC. Ill watch it only if the Lakers win...heheheh

This will be aired on House of Hoops (Thursday ba yun) sa BTV.
But I know they also show this in a local channel (baka ABC 5 nga).

Bibby traded to ATL (this was all over the AS weekend) for 5 players a draft.
Funny thing is ATLs first game after the AS break will be in SAC against the Kings

Also, Kidd has been traded to the Mavs -- Grorge and Stack out Van Horn and Hassell in -- pending league approval.
He might debut on Thursday against the Hornets. Not an impressive trade (for me) overall.
They let go of Harris and Diop -- now they don't have anyone in their line up to guard Parker, Nash, Paul (h\Harris can keep up with these guys). And they don't have a big after Dampier (Diop was better guarding the goal than Dampier). They're gonna be killed by the bigs of the Spurs (Duncan), Lakers (Bynum and Gasol) and Suns (Shaq and Amare).

Very very tight race in the West...Division winners are lucky. They get the top 3 seeds.
Everyone else is a toss up after that....the only saving grace of finishing in a higher seed it homecourt.
Kasi lahat ng teams ang lalakas. Imagine, NO is seeded #1 but they are just 5 games from being out of the playoffs.
I bad week (or 2 weeks) delikado na agad -- Houston nga e 8 game win streak + a winning record eh wala pa sa 8th seed.

Oh, and go to ESPN's Phoenix Suns clubhouse and watch the Shaq interview. He sounded drunk or whatever. LOL

And find in their videos the Shaq's take on Bill Walton's comments about his trade to Phoenix. "Shaq's arrogance is an insult to those who think"...then Shaq made a great comeback with, well, just watch the whole thing:

Finally, LeBron James has a supporting cast.

In an 11 player three-team blockbuster trade, the Cavaliers acquired Chicago's Ben Wallace and Joe Smith, Seattle's Wally Szczerbiak and Delonte West before the trade deadline closed on Thursday, two league sources confirmed.
The Cavaliers sent Larry Hughes, Drew Gooden, Shannon Brown and Cedric Simmons to the Bulls, and Donyell Marshall to the Sonics. Seattle also gets the expiring contracts of Chicago's Adrian Griffin and Cleveland's Ira Newble.

Yeah, very much what I was thinking when I saw that show. Reminded me of the old NBA on GMA program that Quinito Henson hosted where they show highlights of the first half then the tail end or the full 2nd Half of an NBA game. At least Quinito was bearable as an analyst unlike the House of Hoops' male host (Bobby Yan ba yun?) who seems like he gets his basketball info from Wikipedia. He inadvertently even spoiled the outcome of the game when he mentioned that the Laker fans were happy with the result.

Agreed. It's a marketing ploy I guess. Hey lets suck at our coverage on free TV so that people will have no choice but to switch cable providers and get Solar Sports. I say crap em.
