That's why I'm hoping that Lakers win this game para naman gumanda yung series.

Boston is playing good though, this maybe bad news for Lakers.

That is the most scary part about that for the Lakers fan.

If Lakers can be consistent with these 3 then maybe Lakers can win.

Odom with very fresh legs might be a problem for the Celtics. And Pierce, KG, and Gasol needs to show up at the second half

That is why I really think Sam is very familiar. Now I know why.

Lakers is leading at the half because...
- their bench is playing good offensively
- they are playing good defence on the big three (it also helps na dinadaga na naman si KG)

- Lakers' advantage in ft attempts (it just shows that they are playing it inside and not settling for jumpshots)

It was actually an ugly game. But a win whether a point or a blow out still counts.

Some thoughts:

1. Defense reigned throughout the game. Lakers shot 43.5% while the Celts were limited to 35%. KG was 6-21 while Pierce was an awful 2-14. Now its Celts fans to wonder why KG is settling for those long jumpers and fade-away shots. He is shooting 35% for the series (16-62)

2. Lakers should still be worried. Garnett and Pierce were a combined 8-35, but the Celtics still managed a close game. The Lakers still need to get significant contributions from Gasol and Odom. There played poorly most of the game.

3. Efficient games by Kobe and Sasha. They were 12-20 and 7-10 respectively. When Sasha was in the game, Lakers were +12, the highest of the game.

4. Lakers this time were awarded 34 FTs but missed 13 of those. Celtics were not as good either, missing 7 of 22 attempts.

Excellent composure by the Lakers in crunch time. Should be a confidence-booster for the coming games, although they have to be concerned that, even with Pierce playing badly, Boston was still in a position to make it 3-0. If only LA shot better from the FT line... I'm expecting a big game from Pierce and KG next time.

Also, what's happening to Odom?? He has to break out of that slump he's in. Good thing Vujacic played well to support Kobe.

Didn't catch the 3Q - how bad was the injury to Rondo?

Its good though he's trying to be aggressive, although he cant properly finish. But PhilJax is right. He looks confused out there.
