Hope they keep the lead and not be complacent. The 3Q will be crucial...

Don't count out the Cs just yet...they have enough firepower to comeback from this game.
You saw the Lakers come back for 20+ down in the 4th...Cs can do that as well.

3rd quarter is crucial indeed. They have to go out with the same intensity (and luck) in the 1st.

This could be the best game of the series......Pierce vs Bryant, going head to head...offense and defense. Pierce still have the upper hand.

Cs up by 5 now...if they steal this consider the series over. Even if the Lakers win game 5.
Its hard to win 3 straight plus the impact of this game on the morale of the players.

Some key points (for me) if the Cs go on to win this:
> Lakers relaxed in the 3rd quarter, they weren't attacking like the 1st quarter.

> Wahtever happened to Fisher...Farmar isn't playing great why is he in.
> Kobe opting to pass...but he's covered by 4 people...can't blame him.

> Odom doesn't know how to take advantage of his mismatch. He keeps on spinning against Posey but he knows how to play D. Just pound it in and take the jumphook so there's no way he can pull of the chair on you.

> Wow...Pierce can really sell a foul even on a very sight contact

If the Cs wins the series you really have to give it to them...this game shows why they are deserving champs. They never gave up on the game. Posey was the main difference in this game especially when they started playing small. Odom kept on leaving him and made the Lakers pay.

Kobe lost it for LA.. he waited too long to get his game going.. good job by the Celtics.. bawi na lang next year with Bynum.. but wouldn't be great if they come back from a 1-3 deficit and win it in Boston? well, wishful thinking..

The Celtics win it!!!

Lakers played a great 1st half but ended up in a meltdown.
I thought that this game will end in their favor but the Celtics played as if there was no tomorrow.
Game 5 will be very interesting.

Congrats to Boston. This win effectively bagged the title for them. They proved that they're definitely the better team, especially in terms of defense and half-court execution. Saludo ako. I also agree with one of the earlier posts - it's Ray Allen who has been most consistent and reliable in this series and deserves to win the MVP. But I doubt if he's going to get it - sentimental favorite either si KG or Pierce.

As for LA, well, I just hope they have some desire and pride left to at least win the next one - their last at Staples this year.

Interesting who wins the Finals MVP.

The outstanding plays came from Pierce especially after injuring his knee.
But I think Rey Allen hsa been the most consistent of the 3.
Even in the Game 3 loss he was the one who kept them in the game.
But I think it'll be Paul Pierce.

Too bad Stern didn't get all his 3 wishes...he would have wanted this series to go to game 7.

My hats off to Boston.

It was a heartbreaking loss indeed, but if the Lakers were to lose, then it would rather be to the season's best team.

The Celtics played an almost perfect lockdown defense in the 2nd half. This game ultimately proves that defense can win games and championships. Thats why Phoenix fired D'Antoni.

Great job by Rivers. He has totally outcoached Jackson. Going small ball worked wonders for them. And it is a blessing in disguise that Rondo and Perkins were hurt, Posey and House contributed a lot. Philjax countered late. The damage has been done in the third.

I sound like Im conceding the title already. I would like to be optimistic but cant. Lakers can win 3 straight yes....but I dont see it against Boston, they are the better team so far.

Chino Trinidad even said about Vujacic from "game 3 hero to game 4 goat". Something to that effect.
