MANILA, Philippines – Young actress Niña Jose did not mince words in admitting she received not just flowers but something else from Bossing Vic Sotto.
But despite further prodding, the 23-year-old star refused to tell "Paparazzi" what the gift was.
Jose is currently part of the TV5 sitcom titled “The Jose & Wally Show Starring Vic Sotto.” Taking off from this detail, host Zoren Legaspi asked Jose if it was true that the reason their most recent taping was packed up earlier than scheduled was because she had a “conversation” with Sotto.
She answered in affirmative. Then, Legaspi forthrightly pressed on if it was true that the reason behind the "conversation" was that the “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire” host purportedly got jealous over Jose's suitors who would often visit her on the set of their show.
“I wouldn’t really know if he’s jealous,” said Jose. “But we talked. And that’s about it, we talked. And we’re okay.”
Since Sotto’s name has been recently, if incessantly, linked to his “Eat Bulaga” co-host Pauleen Luna, Legaspi queried Jose if she’s ever jealous about the rumored affair between the two.
“I have very high respect for Vic and he’s a good person. I was just shocked. And it’s up to him," she replied indirectly as if evading having to answer the question.
Finally, Legaspi asked Jose, “Nagpaparamdam ba siya sayo ng kakaibang pakiramdam na deeper than friendship?”
“You should ask him that, not me,” she started.
“Pero from what I can see and what he makes me feel, I think so, yes. But, you know, because I have high respect for him, ask him na lang,” she insisted.
Recall that in a previous Bulletin Entertainment report, the actress directly stated that she prefers to be in a relationship with older men. Apparently, their “maturity” and capacity to “converse better” make them attractive to her, as opposed to the younger men who just “play around.”
Describing the 57-year-old veteran host-actor, she further shared in the “Paparazzi” interview, “He’s a very great person. He’s Bossing right? Pero once you get to know him, he’s a very simple, down to earth man. He’s a good man. He has a good heart.”
In ending the interview, the former “Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition” alumna’s message for Sotto was, “Hi Marvic [Sotto’s real name], hello. I’m always here, you know it.”
