I think this is what happened: Vhong forced the issue the first time he went to Deniece's condo (January 17). Is it still rape even if the alleged perpetrator was invited to the condo of the victim? Yes, provided all the elements are present.
Deniece cried rape to her friend Cedric. Cedric then proceeded to setup Vhong for some much-deserved ass-whooping.
Now, why did Deniece go to Cedric instead of the police? She's probably thinking that no one would believe her (majority of the people here do not believe her, so she's right). But why Cedric? Do they have a relationship? That's immaterial. If you want revenge, you go to your most badass friend, and that is Cedric.
Now, why did Cedric believe Deniece? Well, of course, if a friend comes crying to you that she was raped, you're not going to investigate. You're going to beat the crap out of the perpetrator. And so they baited Vhong to go back to the condo.
Do I think that Cedric caught Vhong in the act? No. I think things happened exactly the way Vhong narrated it. Feeling ko hindsight lang yung 'caught in the act' yun to justify their citizen's arrest. Do I think Vhong raped Deniece the first time (January 17)? Yes. Do I think Vhong raped Roxanne? Yes.
Why is Vhong's name spelled that way instead of 'Bong?' That's the big question.
