Our daughters Klaus?  You have a daughter?  As a parent, it is but natural to protect them and keep them safe.  Keeping them safe doesn't mean raising them to be helpless delicate flowers.  It's more of prevention.

If?  No plans of having children?  Oh well that simply means til then, you don't know what it's like to be a father and raise a daughter then.     You watch too many movies Klaus.

Isn't that typical of Filipino parents?  Lalo na staying overnight with a boyfriend alone.  But if the parents live in the same house, pwede naman.  I know of several friends who have that kind of arrangement with their respective parents.  It's really not isolated to Showbiz personalities.

Some parents are more liberal now (me included, as I never liked being told what to do growing up). I encourage my daughter to speak out what she feels, not what she should be feeling. Ganun din sa school nya. Works for us so far.

Good for you sir bumblebee.  Kanya kanyang style naman siguro yan.  Hindi naman siguro one style is better than the other.  Yun ang point ko with Klaus.  Lalo na he is not a father pala.

Kanya kanya ulit siguro yan.  For me it's not really close.  Usually mas maluwag ka sa sister mo compared to your daughter.  Or if ever close... close is still not the same.  So it really isn't comparable no matter how close.  Naku lalo na if kamag-anak.  Kahit gano kalapit.     So if someone says I can relate but is not a father.... well...

OT Share ko lang. I am 3 years old younger than my sister. Nung teenager sya hanggang 20's lahat ng lumigaw sa kanya + naging bf nya lagi kong inaaway. Niyayaya ko sa basketball at mountain biking para pahirapan at pinapahiya ko lagi. Pinapahabol ko pa sa aso ko, etc.
Nagsisisi ako.
Now 49 na sister ko at di na nakapagasawa.

So, if ever Klaus think of it that way, mai-intindihan ko, not just because I'm that kind of father/brother/father-figure, but also because, I'm that kind of son hehe Don't get me wrong though. Like any father, marami akong kinakatakutan, My only wish is that if and when the time comes, I can handle it.

Pwede naman tayo maka-relate e. Psychologists/psychiatrists/life coaches don't need to be in one's position to give advices, right?

Hahahaha! That's a no for me.  You have to be one to know "exactly" how you feel.  You can't say you know what it feels like to be a girl.  Kaya nga yun cliche..... Close but no cigar.  No matter how close one considers it, close is not the same kahit gaano paikutin.   . Kaya nga hindi pwede.... You are not a good father.  Let me give you advice.  But are you a father yourself...No.    Credibility goes hand in hand with being one.

Don't regret bro. Hindi mo naman ginawa yan until her 30's di ba? You did what you think that time was right for her. Though you may probably crossed some boundaries, kung talagang makakapag-asawa siya, she will. Malay mo she's thinking na tama yun ginawa mo. May mga tao kasi na after makakita ng mga marriages gone wrong, they opt not to marry. Malay mo yan ang case ng sister mo. I think hindi lang yan ang main reason whty your sister didn't get married. Unless tinututukan mo ng deadly weapon or binubugbog mo. 

Usually naman, 25 onwards, medjo malawak na ang pag-iisip ng sister mo. I'm sure hindi yun ginawa mo ang reason.
