No, if it's P500+, it's a real BD (tunay na fake, or pekeng tunay

).

If it's around P100, it's DVD-9 transcoded from BD.

i actually copied it .. it can be played in panasonic HTIBs that can read avchd files .. iirc even my panasonic pv80s sdcard reader can read it!

ill try it later

Thanks for the info! First time i ever heard of it.

Mahal naman ng P500+! Dapat pricing lang ng DVD-9, around P100 lang. Ang pricing nila dapat based on the media, regardless of content. Compared to BD to DVD-9 transcodes, halos pareho lang naman ang pagod nila sa AVCHD on DVD-9, di ba?

i thought i already sent you a pm about it ..

and yes, its a bit expensive considering the media is dvd9 only (about 7.5gb troy directors cut) .. thats why i opted to return it for ordinary dvd9s .. (but made a copy already )
it only plays on ps3 and panasonic htibs (Bolshoie is using one) ..
its only 1080i/720p, i think 3 stages ang encoding nito bro, they have to convert it to a file type that is HD in order to burn it sa SD media ..
but then again 500 is still too much ..

nope its really HD, theyre selling it for 600 - 700 but they gave it to me at 500 pesos, because they were curious themselves, they wanted me to "dissect" it for them ..

Wal ka nang gastos, pareho rin naman ang tugtug.

Iyun' lang mga NMT's ang naka-katunog nang FLAC.

13K...wala lang HDD.

Kasi sa totoo' lang (RMV,FLAC,AVI, Xvid, OGG,Ogm at ngayon MKV), iyan' ay sumikat dahil lang sa "File Sharing"

Buti nga, malakas ang Divx, nag-ka-support tuloy sa mga electronic manufacturer.

Matagal tagal din' kaming nag-hintay sa Divx incorporated DVD players, noon una, eh... HDD players din lang ang mayroon', pero malay mo lumabas din'...ang Pioneer ngayon, nag-pla-play na nang WMV.

am looking for a generic DIVx player w/ USB slot. My choices are pensonic, xenon, xtreme and nextbase. what would you suggest as the best buy, considering it's price and durability?

right now, pensonic and xenon are the cheapest...

The cheapest is Ace at 895Php, if merely for CRT this is good and better if your monitor is prog scan capable and yes its progscan at 895 pesos. Now if you have LCD as your panel well its still Xtreme for me; imagine HDMI and 1080P at 2.5K together with testimonials here at pinoydvd what more will you look for; oh except for the audio you will need to reconfigure it everytime you go digital due to the nasty decoder they have for analog signals other than that it'd satisfying. Nope, no Suki, but it's all over the Raon Shopping Center, just bring your DVDs to test as well as the USB and Divx encoded files in a DVD.

wow, i also got this model yesterday. problem lang after watching an entire movie using 1080i(50hz), nasira na. hindi na nagdidisplay ng video.any similar experiences? mas mahal pa nga kuha ko. i got it P2,799 from ganzklar trinoma. babalik nga ako mamaya para papalitan e.

Don't buy 2nd hand HDD, it's a waste of money. I got gypped once at TipidPC. :'(

HDD are now very cheap, a 160G Seagate only costs 1.6K in Gilmore, surprisingly the 80G costs 1.4K.

scammers there even have a "sleeper" account, as old as 2 years with a couple of feedbacks ..
