Phased out na ata ito. If you're main use is standard definition DVDs only, the 32-inch plasma is the way to go.

Ask Jeff of TheaterWorks or Vic of Sights & Sounds if they still have stocks on hand.

What buttons are not working? Sa amin ayos pa naman lahat and we have a secondary controller for the TV which is the Sony RM-VL600. I'm not totally sure if all functions are covered by the Sony universal remote though.

yung mga importanteng buttons pa ang di gumagana.  Yung Power button and menu button.  I was thinking baka dahil sa nag-leak yung batteries kaya parang nag-short sa loob.  di ko naman mabuksan yung remote dahil wala naman syang screws.  Any suggestions what to do?  Thanks in advance.

I just need to open the case of the remote and clean the inside.  Can I pull it open without actually breaking it?

hey guys... musta na dito sa PDVD... one of the original owners of the LG 32 plasma 32pc5r units here ...

still very happy with my unit... which doubles as my tv unit sa room and mg HTPC  for surfing...

maganda pa rin PQ when viewing skycable...

ok din pang HD 720p movies via the HTPC setup...

really very happy na maayos pa din takbo despite its age... almost 18months old na sya this december... :)

cheers all...

I have the same plasma but the powersupply conked out after  1yr and a month of very minimal use. It wasn't covered by warranty anymore so I had it repaired from where I got it. Initially their charge was P10500.  I tried to haggle nalang for a little discount.  Guess the TV is reasonably priced but the repair out of warranty  is gonna kill you.

san mo nabili unit mo?

did you bring it to the LG service center?

do you use a 1.5kwatt / 1.0kwatt AVR (with power-on delay) on your unit?  baka kasi direct connection sa AC power yung unit mo and its not really advisable to do this because of electrical spikes and fluctations that affect the power supply...

Got it from TW. Yes it is plugged in a 1000w AVR. I just don't know why one time it didn't turn on. It is in our guestroom & seldom used. Only used when guests sleepover which is so seldom.

Guys from TW told me that it should be turned on often to prevent this from happening again. I don't get the logic. ???

32PC5RV/32PC5RA owners, would anyone happen to know if remote controls are identical between the two units? And does anybody utilize a Logitech Harmony remote or a Sony RM-VL600 for it? Kumpleto ba ang commands?

Our remote control was Ondoy-ed. :P

Natry ko na linisin eh, I might just try replacing the sole capacitor on the board and see if that does the trick.
