No diff sa electrical consumption, even you adjust the 32a450 w/the very best setting the lg plasma still stands in terms of true color (skin tone and black levels) also the LG has RGB adjustments. ;)

the best is to see the unit for yourself, just today 3/3 saw the unit and took it. ;)

I agree with Jeff (Nemesis) & NinjaBabes...

Best PQ pa rin ang LG Plasma... Really glad about the performance of this unit.

Also my meralco bill just arrived... its even less than my previous month's bill...

I still have to observe the next meralco bill... just to make sure...

+1 sa LG Plasma :)

Ikaw din?  My meralco bill went down by 300 (from 1.9k to 1.6)  no changes in gear except for the Plasma TV. :)

sir Jeff,

I'm seriously considering this LG plasma, however my dillemma is I'm gonna use it exclusively as htpc, but only to watch downloaded movies.  I wont be using it for normal desktop applications or games, just movie wathing through my pc.  would you still recommend this or just settle with an lcdtv?

TIA

for cable/satellite tv, is this more recommended than lcd tv (considering pana lx77)? 'yun kasi ang magiging main purpose ng tv...

for current owners: burn-in is not a concern ba?

the room we'll be putting the tv in is brightly lit, so i'm concerned din sa glare from the glass panel ng plasma...

for sdtv viewing .. lamang talaga ang plasma over lcdtv .. this is the reason why i replaced my LX77 with lg 32" plasma .. dont get me wrong maganda rin talaga ang panasonic sa cable tv viewing but you cant deny the fact na mas malinaw talaga ang lg 32" plasma ..

for current owners: burn-in is not a concern ba?

walang problema bro .. btw you might notice after watching a movie yung last part medyo may kita sa screen (pag naka-off which is normal *they call it image retention yata) pero once you played or watch a new movie wala na .. so technically wala pong burnin issue ..  :D;D

the room we'll be putting the tv in is brightly lit, so i'm concerned din sa glare from the glass panel ng plasma...

Sad to say it is not....  :(   Was already set on getting this unit until I learned, rather saw reflections.  The intended location pa naman of this in my house would be across the window so decided not to get it - sayang talaga.

@ninjababez, nemesis91 salamat sa feedback!

i'll try to drop by the store and see if magiging big factor yung glass panel.

btw. i was at s&s last week, and i asked one of the salespersons kung bakit wala silang LG, sabi niya kasi raw di maganda 'yung after-sales-service ng LG? 'di raw ok yung service center? any comments?

Hahaha... di kasi sila dealer sir kaya ganun. Imagine my client got his plasma way way back 2002 pa, tapos this year lang nasira and LG took care of the service and got the unit from my clients house, it was repaired after 12 days. They got parts pa kahit luma na. ;D

Hello to all! I'm new to the site and this is my very first post. I'm glad that I was able to find the site and really find the site's forum informative. I have been looking around parts of the metro (Makati and Mandaluyong) seeking the best 32" flat panel that my tight and limited budget can buy. And I would very much appreciate all the help that I can get.

Sir Jeff, I'm planning to buy a 32" flat panel within 2 weeks. This will be mainly used for watching DVD movies (mostly original) and watching standard (analog) cable broadcast is just secondary. I have already considered Toshiba 32C3500, Samsung LA32A450, Hitachi LM32A01, Panasonic 32LE8 and Philips 32PFL3403 to be amongst the list. Then, I read the thread and suddenly had my attention to the LG 32" Plasma. Please advise what is the best panel to get since I'm very eager to replace my "old school" HT setup. Also, I'm open for any suggestions on what HTIB to match on the selected panel. I prefer HTs with HDMI output.

Since I have posted in this thread, kindly PM the best price you sir could probably offer to me. for this item - LG 32" Plasma; Promos, freebies, etc. and the terms upon availment in your highly regarded shop. Will the LG HT902TB Home Cinema System be a goud pair for this plasma TV or are ther other better options such as the Philips HTS3366? By the way, I came to your shop at Robinson's Pioneer yesterday afternoon and only 3 panels were offered.

Thanks in advance!!!

Sir Jeff, thanks sa pag-entertain sa akin kanina/kahapon and also kindly extend this to your equally accommodating staffs/personnels.

I must say, I was really impressed with the LG 32" Plasma in terms of color depth and color reproduction. I find it difficult to put away my eyes on it. Nakakamangha talaga!!! I was aiming to decide and buy a flat panel not until the first week of July but I think di na yata aabot pa. I think I have finally made my decision. So I hope to come by again one of these days to your shop and hopefully close this saga in finding the right flat panel for me, by taking home one of these impressive yet affordable panel. Imagine, a non-1080p panel that beats a full HD 2Meg panel... Wow talaga! And it displays well even those p*****d movies that we sampled. On top of that is the great offer that I can't ignore.

Q lang po, how do you keep these panels clean. Any special methods and/or solutions of cleaning them? Thanks!
