Yung eyestrain would depend sa health and age mo, as well as ambient lighting ng viewing room.  My daughter can sit hours in front of the TV at very short viewing distances.  I cant.  I get more bothered by the IR in my eyes than the IR on the plasma  ;D :( ;D :(
id have to agree on this one.  im used to watching 2-3 movies straight when i still have a decent shift at work.  now that i have f*kc3d up schedule, i dont have time to watch cause i lack sleep  :(

I use it for 100% DVDs/TV series only. No TV, no gaming. IMO kung DVD viewing talaga habol mo this would be the best, depende rin siguro sa sensitivity ng eyes mo, sa 32-inch LCDs kasi kitang kita ko yung mga blocks.

Yup, there's just something about LCD picture quality that I don't like.

eto po bang 32pc5ra ay 720p lang po ba?

480p lang siya which makes it great if you only plan to use it for DVD playback. Way much better PQ than competing 32-inch LCDs.

If I have to get another 32-incher I'd get another one of this 32-inch LG Plasma.

Magandang indication yan... Everyone is enjoying their 32-inch LG Plasma and not experiencing any sort of problems! ;D

Like playing consoles (PS3 or Xbox360),

or

pwde na bang isabak sa marathon gaming out of the box?

Hi Guys...

Have some problem here with my 32LG Plasma... I'm using this as the main monitor for my HTPC connected via HDMI (HDMI1).

My problem is once I shift to TV or to HDMI2... I loose the HTPC signal when I go back to HDMI1.

I tried changing the HDMI cables and still have the same issue.

Now the problem has gotten worse... Everytime I boot my PC... I'll see all the POST data during boot up... but after the initial POST... My screen goes blank... NO PICTURE / NO SOUND...

Hope you could help me... Thanks...

you most probably set the resolution to something that the tv can't display.  since you can still see post, kase post's resolution is the lowest, right?

use a different monitor and try setting the resolution to it's lowest.  see if it resolves the issue.

already fixed the issue... i just backed up my data and did reformat/restore of my OS.

Everything back to normal... Except for the downtime / re-installation... LG functioning well as the main monitor for the HDTV.

Yes..  I think I selected a setting not compatible with my LG...

Thanks everyone...

i've got several PMs regarding how good this TV is in different aspects. So let me state it once more: :)

If you are in the market for a 32" for Cable viewing, DVD, Gaming (Ps3, xbox, even Wii!), Bluray and MKV.

THIS IS THE BEST 32" FLAT PANEL YOU CAN GET! :) Picture quality is top notch and the best for me, (which i guess is the main reason in choosing a flat panel, image quality, since thats what you'll be looking at :p )

Do no not get fooled by full hd for a 32" since it would hardly be noticeable in a 32", but do not take my word for it go to TW and see for yourself. Compare.

The only reason you should get another 32" is if you are to use your panel for web surfing connected via VGA or DVI.
Thats the only time you could opt for another TV, my best bet is Panasonic 32LE8 for its best price to PQ ratio.

i wanna demo this plasma tv :)

anyone know what is the best display setting for xbox360 gaming?i found the 1080p have very good graphic but was afraid that the higher resolution 1080p will generate more heat on the console GPU, is this true? :-[i try to use 720p, and it was less sharp compare to 1080p, and it got a small and short white line on the right top of the screen! >:(

and also dvd playback(i found very bad image quality when watching dvd movies using setting default setting)? ???

im connecting xbox360 to LG 32' plasma using hdmi cable.

thanks! ;)

afaik best setting for gaming is 720p.  but regarding your concern about 1080p yielding higher temps, yes in theory it should be warmer, nothing to worry though if you play under 3 hours.  just make sure you have a good ventilation ;D

Nakapanuod ako HDTV broadcast when I was in the US. Malinaw pa sa DVD. Parang Blu-ray, halos pwede mo na hawakan yung tao. Broadcasts there are in 720p or 1080i.
