Any info on the release of the R3 version? Walt Disney's site says March 18 for the R1 DVD and BD versions.

Looks like Viva is right on the money. As Allanmandy reported, Viva released it simultaneously (with R1).

And the packaging's great. Very thick popup slipcase. The thickest R3 slipcase I'd seen. A bit pricey at 750, but great for collectors.

The DVD is separately shrinked wrapped too, does that mean the slipcase might be limited? And that whatever goes to bargain bins will be without slipcase?

They print 'Walt Disney' so prominently on the side as if people does not know this is a Disney film. That inscription does adds a lot of class to the design (of the case).

Inside, the plastic case they use is similar to those used by Magnavision (The one they had to put bubble wrap inside to prevent the disc from loosening). That's the only complaint I had, I will probably transfer it to a genuine Amaray.

That aside; great film, great packaging, price is okay (I guess, until you find it in Php 299 bins a couple of weeks afterwards).

nice movie + nice packaging = 750 pwede na rin

Oh well, you can't get everything. The R1 has one language track, R3 has four (English, Thai, Mandarin Chinese, Cantonese Chinese). Probably why they have to remove the DTS. It still sounds pretty good though...

Bought this one too. Kala ko double disc sya. The packaging seemed fine naman so medyo sulit na rin for P750.00.

got this too last sunday at odyssey the block. dami pa din copies.

the dvd is separately shrinked wrapped. i also asked if there were release that does'nt have the slip case and she said that all enchanted dvds are packaged this way.

there's also an insert.

nice movie just hope it does'nt go on sale after 1 month or 2 atleast for my wallet's case

You can say that again. I really don't mind if it goes to the bargain bin a year from now, or that it goes on sale without the slipcase. But seeing an item you bought goes on sale merely weeks after you pay good hard-earned cash (at full price) really makes me have second thoughts about buying dvds on launch. First adopters really need an incentive to buy. Hopefully Enchanted will not go that route.

Watched the movie over the weekend. The Disney Magic is back. Maybe because they are channeling all those classic Disney works in the movie. Gotta watch it again soon...

just re-watched the dvd with my kids! even my 2 year old son stayed in his seat the whole time.

AQ and PQ is good also loaded with special features, no need to choose just click the menu button since special features are presented in sequence one after the other

i guess i got my 750's worth with this purchase.
