good afternoon po,
aside from replacing capacitors/diodes/resistors. Other tweaks to improve the performance,
does anyone tried to replace the opamp(s)? to improve the SQ using DAC of the dvdp playing auido CD's.
thanks,

Sir ferds,
Kung SMD ba ang opamps puwede i-upgrade?
I have a pioneer DVD-667A which seems to sound better than the Victor XL-V313 non-TOTL surplus CDP I used to own, though parang harsh yung highs nya. I haven't seen the innards yet but just in case SMD ang opamps, puwede pa kayang i-upgrade?
I saw this post on modding the Pioneer DVD-667A, mukhang extreme mods na yata at expensive, heh-heh.

gud pm,
In replacing opamps, will changing it with better brand w/ same type (DIP/SMD)will improve SQ?
Or there must be considerations in specs.
