posting some pics of sir mark calibrating sir jake's benq w500 3lcd 720p projector. great stuff. pity i had to leave early because of prior commitment. definitely an eye opener!
the master calibrator and the ht owner.... mukhang handa na si sir jake sa paglista ng settings...
the calman specthrometer measuring the 80% and 20% pluge (tama ba?) to know if the rgb settings of the pj is in the correct levels.
after the reading, the master now looks at the hi-tech computer software on what element to adjust (red, blue or green) to make sure the end result is on target!
after hitting the bulls eye for the rgb settings, we have to go back to the basics and make sure the basic settings are still on the right track, contrast, brightness, color, tint, etc and etc...
the owner (dyazzy dyek) closely observes the pattern being beamed by the pj, dapat wala man lang ni pula o berde na lumalabas sa pattern, white, gray and black lang!!!
end result: great blacks, nice contrast!!! (ps3 gran turismo wallpaper)

the pq is much better than what i have remembered from my past visits to sir jake's ht.
