Caught parts of Singing Bee last night. The one hosted by Cesar Montano.

God, that's a stupid show! They better change the format if they want the show to last more than one season. The winner last night won only because her competitors couldn't get the answers right! Not to say that she got it right, but someone had to win! 

I don't expect anyone to post on this thread. I really don't think anyone watches that.

i watched that lame show only because of curiousity. that's what we tend to do whenever there is something new, right?

i don't agree with you that the show is stupid.

IT IS MORE THAN STUPID. it's got the word lousy written all over it. lousy format, lousy concept, lousy set, lousy singers, lousy dancers, lousy host.

I watched it the last few nights because some of the female contestants seem to be nice looking, if they are not acting :-)

Oh wait. Scrap that. The Singing Bee is actually an improvement over Palos. That show is the dumbest, most pathetic show on ABS-CBN. Good thing it ended tonight.

I saw the last 3 minutes of Palos. Was that Wendy? No wonder they ended the show.

inalis na ba ito?  i hope so, saw parts of it cause our maid was watching it and it was pathetic.  the idea is so crappy.  it's just another example of abs cbn trying to copy a formula that was done ahead of them by gma.  this is nothing more than another spin on videoke all star k.

Palos is the one that just ended. The Singing Bee just started this Monday. I wouldn't call this an All Star K ripoff. This show has more variety than ten episodes of All Star K combined.

Oww, kam on! You honestly don't believe that.  All star K is deplorable as it is, but this bee being better?  Something is amiss!!

But I'm not saying these two shows are good shows. They're both dumb and shallow. What I'm saying is one is better than the other one, and in my book, it's The Singing Bee that is the more entertaining between the two.

            The 'singing, er, dancing babes' are quite distracting. They truly live up to the show's 'mascot', they just popped up without a warning in all their bee-stinging costumes. I didn't even mentioned the horrendous dance steps. Had tried watching this Buboy's show but it's very hard for me.
