May 3x120MM fanb sa ilalim un saka may 2x120MM na fan sa gilid and i can put another 2x60MM fan sa likod. That should cool the HTPC case. 

aba - ngayon ko lang narinig yan..meron na ba sa google haha..baka nauna ka pa....just kidding brader...

Ano bibisitahin mo pa ba ako sa bundok bago ka sumibat? HDD na lang kaya ang kubin mo kesa mag build ka ng FM2 na HTPC.

Ideally, SATA hotswap should be supported by the controller and driver for this to work safely on-the-fly (software mount/dismount). Otherwise, a shutdown would be needed to safely mount/dismount a drive.

Actually hindi naman siya hot swap device its more on power ON and OFF the HDD. That's why i say that it need to reboot when you power ON/OFF since it will not take effect like hot swap.

Those are really nice HDD exclosures right there. I am actually tempted to setup something like that but the HDD price per movie is very expensive for me. Its somehow cheaper to buy the disc itself and store it somewhere. You guys are rich!! Even 2-3 2TB's are a lot.. and you guys are even planning to setup 10++!!

Its somehow cheaper to buy the disc itself and store it somewhere. You guys are rich!! Even 2-3 2TB's are a lot.. and you guys are even planning to setup 10++!!

Why it's not 1HDD/movie i believe either 40-80/movie it's much better to get HDD where to store the movie collection.

May bootleg na bang BD50? Why would i buy bootleg if same na din ng original ang price? 

For me it make sense kasi ayaw ko mag kuluha sa collection ko then play ko sa bluray player para less hassle sa HTPC na lang. 

AFAIK bootleg available now is 25GB but why would i get such item if it will look crap on my PJ HT.

Bro I think mas mura pa din if you will store the movies in HDD.
For example a 2TB internal HDD costs around 4.5K pesos which you could store around 30 bluray iso movies.
If you will buy those movies lets say around 600 pesos per movie, it will cost around 18K pesos...

For example a 2TB internal HDD costs around 4.5K pesos which you could store around 30 bluray iso movies.
If you will buy those movies lets say around 600 pesos per movie, it will cost around 18K pesos...

Not unless there's a plan on selling those orig bluray discs...

I think naman tatagal ang life ng bluray discs if stored properly kaya no need for back up iso copy.

Sakin kasi ang binibili kong bluray disc are those I plan to keep/collect.
Yung ibang gusto lang mapanood is sa ibang paraan nakukuha, hehehe

Pero sa bagay si Elmer mayaman kaya may bluray disc at may back up copy pa sa 11 units 4TB HDD nya

Buti ka nga iso ako hanggang 4gig to 8gig na file lang eh...hindi pa 1080p.. pag nag checheck ako kalimitan 1xxx by 800 lang resolution eh.. pero ok lang di ko naman chinechek kung kita balahibo at pimples nang artista eh... nag fofocus ako more sa story at sa SQ ha ha ha...

Ang sinasabi ko yung file hindi yung pinaglalabasan nang file... seryoso.. kuntento na ako sa collection ko na 4gig to 8gig mkv's yung iba umaabot nang 12.. di kasi ako masyado nag papay attention sa details nung movie eh.. basta malinaw sa PJ at hindi mukang DVD panalo na sa akin...
