The only futureshop limited editions that I know of are their steelbook exclusives. Right now, I would suggest Watchmen Director's Cut SteelBook and the James Bond titles (Dr. No, From Russia w/ Love, Goldfinger, Moonraker, etc.). Other blu-ray steels by futureshop such as TDK, Iron Man, I Am Legend, and Indy Jones KOTCS are already OOP.

Yes I did notice that they were now labeled as metalpak. I didn't preorder this because I'm waiting for the extended versions. These metalpak releases contain the theatrical version only.

I don't have the DVC steel (yet) but i'm planning on getting the Illuminati if i can.. It is the only one from the list above I am actually interested in

Btw, not all MM exclusives were offered by Amazon. The really nice ones weren't - Hellboy II and Death Race (both have embossed covers).

Also, from what I've read, the ones offered by Amazon were old stocks.. probably leftovers from MM stores.. and some of them had signs of shelf wear, light scratches and dings. Hence, the cheap price. Anyway, no one has complained yet about the HP steels except for it being "reshrinkwrapped" daw. I'm crossing my fingers... sana matino yung copies na makuha ko.

what about the other HPs, are they in mint condition? How were they packed? boxed or in that wraparound brown carton? Amazon.de is notorious for using that wraparound carton even for 5+ steelbooks and they almost always arrive 30-40% damaged.

Now, I'm really worried... I hope i get mint copies and that they don't get damaged in shipping...

Just curious.. what date were your items shipped? Mine shipped Aug. 31 and still no sign of them. $:-\$

Ordered 7 and only 1 was damaged. Already complained this to Amazon.de and just waiting for a reply. Mine was shipped Sept 3

And yes, all 7 steelbooks were packed in that wraparound brown carton. Amazon US is still the best in safety packaging

Did you file complaint by sending email to customer service or by clicking on the return item button and asking for a replacement? I'm hesitant to ask for one because there is no guarantee that it will be in pristine condition. I might get a replacement that is even more badly damaged than the one I have.

Also, the steelbooks were indeed re-shrinkwrapped.

Btw, I don't think my sorcerer's stone is thinner compared to the others... thickness seems to be about the same for all five steels. $:-\$

I got my replacement copy of Goblet of Fire today. It came in pristine condition and original shrinkwrap (the other one was re-shrinkwrapped by amazon.de). The replacement was shipped 09/11/09, received it today 09/17/09. It was really fast, it took only 4 working days!
