The releases in amazon is Sept23. I hope, we are not far behind.

(Thoughts of "NO CUTS" come into my mind as I wait for this DVD. Hehe! The moviw has lots of cuts that you wanna walk out in the middle of it)

I think if this were a Warner release... Warner usually has promos for their high profile releases, so we would've heard of a release date by now.

I'm guessing that just like all other New Line Cinema releases in the country, this will be a C-Interactive release, and that usually means it'll be released a few months after the R1 (like Pan's Labyrinth, Hairspray, etc.)

This is all conjecture, but I think it's probable.

oh no! c-interactive?  i was glad to learn before the NLC was bought by warner so that SATC will have its proper release here. but no?  :'(

jekoy, I'm really not sure about this, but until today, all the local New Lines I've seen are by C-Interactive.

I'm not sure how the international deal with the Warner purchase of New Line went.

And if it were a Warner release, it's almost sure that the title would've been released this week - simultaneous with the R1 - as is the usual norm for that company.

i think you have a point there, Mr Hankey. i remember that there were titles here before that was fox or warner-produced but not released by them (viva or wb rp) locally because they were from different distributor. i might have as well order r1 copies.

saw sex and the city the movie dvds at odyssey. one's a single disc (500 + pesos) the other's a 2-disc unrated version (600 + pesos). released by c-interactive. sayang di warner ang nag-release dito.
