I saw this one at the Astrovision Sale in Glorietta; regularly priced at PhP1900.  I've eyeing this one (R1) for some time now, but it was quite pricey (so does Season 2).  It's a good thing that Viva already released this one here.

I was wondering though if this one mirrors its R1 counterpart.  Any info on this?

Slightly OT:  Are rights to these shows cheaper when you release it say one year after the R1...just wondering because unlike Warner or even Magnavision, Viva releases ABC/Fox TV series something like 1-to-2 years after the R1.  Ugly Betty S1 shows up last month, when R1 is already getting the S2 this month.  Prison Break S1 & S2, shows up this year when it's been available for ages in R1, the recently released (in R1) Season 3 is still absent...  OT: Was 24 ever released locally in DVD?

If it is indeed cheaper, how come Viva charges like 3K per season for their TV series sets?

Cheaper for Viva....not cheaper for us.   Otherwise, it makes no sense to delay releasing them on R3, unless ABC and Fox mandates the delayed R3 release (did I answer my own query?).

Viva's previous universal 3k pricing is really exorbitant, when R1 with shipping is still cheaper.  Hopefully Ugly Betty's 1,500 and Brother and Sister's  1,900 (still pricey / is that regular price?) is indicative of Viva's new pricing strategy...

Ugly Betty S1 shows up last month, when R1 is already getting the S2 this month.

We may get season 2 sooner than we got the first season, since unlike the R1, the R3 Ugly Betty season 1 set actually has a trailer for the season 2 DVD release on it already.
