Kung Fu Panda (November)

Eew! That's so weird! Sam Concepcion KFP music video on a UK DVD?!

I hope Magna would also release the KFP-related short film that will be sold separately in the US.

That's HILARIOUS, a Sam Concepcion "Kung Fu Fighting" music video on the R2 DVD... but notice how the same video is NOT included in the UK Blu-ray release?

I get the feeling that Magnavision might cash-in by releasing it as a separate title, the same way they did with Shrek and it's comapnion Shrek 3D.  But no dice, I am getting the R1.

if Magna released this one

instead of this,

I think they'd get more sales.. though you can buy one as well in a toy shop.. but it would look better on display than that plastic bop bag..

Is that an R3?  Surprisingly, Magna didn't release that one since many titles like the Transformers Steelcase and Transforming seems identical to HK's, right down to the distributor.  They could have easily priced it at, say 1200, and there'd be takers.   Who knows Magna might just surprise us since it had not been released yet...

just watched Kung Fu Panda: Secrets Of The Furious Five, a 25 minute feature.  Jack Black and Dustin Hoffman reprises their voice talents on this one but the others were just soundalikes of the original five.

quite entertaining.  i don't know the reason for its existence. might be a teaser for a tv series, not sure though

Does the 2 disc contain the short film "Secrets of the Furious Five"?

Available na. 1-disc and 2-discs (with inflatable balloon).

No, 2-discs R3 does not include the short film 'Secrets of the Furious Five' but include Sam Concepcion's version of Kung Fu Fighting (not included on R1).

Wow. That's a big consolation..... NOT!

I think disc 2 is a game demo.

Actually, they spread out the features.  So disc 2 (R3) has some of the features (including Mr. Concepcion's video).  It's also have the game demo yata but I haven't popped it into my PC so not sure.  The 2-discs' features mirror's R1's two-pack* with the exception of Secrets of the Furious Five short film which is one of those watch-once and forget video, it's more suited for kids, nice artwork though.

R1's Kung Fu Panda is three disc actually, with the third disc being the Activision game (Don't know if it's a demo) but look like a full game disc to me with 'Games For Windows' label.

R3 has the Sam Concepcion video and an extra Po around the World feature which is basically the last fight scene between Po and Tai Lung set to different languages, basically useless.

___________________
*Secrets of the Furious Five disc (R1) includes some features and they are all ported over to the R3 disc 2 (with the exception of the short film itself).
