Right now, I think they are priced within the budget prescribed above.

Panasonic 32LE8 (Not sure if this is still available)

Pro's
+Very good black levels
+Very good viewing angles because of the IPS panel
+Good cable picture definition

Con's
-"Grainy" Blu-Ray playback
-Limited picture settings

Toshiba 32CV500

Pro's
+Very good default picture settings
+Very good "Dynamic" picture definition (Soft to the eye)
+1080p capable
+Good stock sound

Con's
-Fair viewing angle
-Slow 9ms pixel response rate

There we go a few models that are now being offered under the 30k mark ;)

Better if you just post your recent purchase & the "best" deal/s you got from the seller. No need to mention the store so as not to create an impression that this particular store is better than the other. ;D

Pero kung sobrang attractive yong deal, PM ka na lang secretly para alamin kung saan yung store na yun. ;D

i am not too sure lang pero a panny 32LE8 was on display sa SM appliance .....
I didn't like its color output ..... parang faded at ang noisy ng picture ......
but it could be the player and/or disc ..... at any rate it disappoints me

ang layo sobra price sa SM appliance vs sa mga resident sellers natin :P taas ng patong ng SM

I bought 2 of these a few days ago so far so good.  For 19,999 I think it's pretty good na plus 1 year in house warranty daw sabi sa Makro.  We use it mainly for cable tv viewing the picture quality is actually pretty good.

My dad already bought a Samsung 32" LCD at TW.  He's very happy at malaki daw ang namenos nya compared kung sa 'more popular appliance centers' (read: Abenson) sya bumili :)  Thanks din dun sa storekeeper mo, si M ata yun.
