SIR TONY...ask lang ako bout da traffo... pwedi bang i parallel ko ang two (2) 39 0 39 ten (10) amperes para maka arrive nang 20 amps?? thanks sir..
when i was younger, maybe like your age, i used to think that way too....
if you tell me what size your present transformer is, then i can tell you for sure, normally you can parralel two transformers if you get your phasing correctly.....
the question is, however, why do you want to do it? is one not enough? if you have two of those, you can use two transformers and feed two channels from those two transformers, meaning one transformer for each channel, what i am saying is there is another way...
why the obsession with 20 amps?
one rule of thumb for power transformers used in ss amps is that,
you get the biggest one that can fit your chassis....
remember, why commercial amps can get away with smaller and lighter transformers is that, music has a high peak to average ratio as compared to sine waves which is sqaure root of two.....with music it can be as high as ten(10).....
the transformers used in the Crown PB's are phisically small....
