Ano po maganda imatched sa rti a3 na receiver? 80% movie 20% music. Thanks

I kinda like how they sound with Onkyos when playing movies, but it's best to hear it yourself.

Hi! Before getting my Onkyo 509, I was able to test it with a Denon AVR. If you're going to use it mostly for movies, Onkyo is a more suitable choice. The movie audio is crisper and for me, not too heavy on the mids.

But the best thing and fun thing to do is head on to avshop care of Marc and have a "blast" picking out the right receiver to pair with your beautiful speakers and your personal listening preference.

Yes, these AVRs are capable, actually more than capable. (",) the BIG question, does it suit your listening taste, your planned use for it and also your room dimensions.
Pagdating sa audio equipment, malaking bagay mag-audition (",)
Our local retailers would be more than willing to assist you. Ive had great experience with AVShop and SNS. Schedule ka Lang with them. (",)

I have no separate room for the hts.. Open room lang nakalagay un plasma tv namin.. Specifically sa sala lng namin.. 6.7m length and 1.8m width ung sala namin.. Will the Onkyo 609 will be enough to power up the rti a3 speakers for movie purpose with this dimensions of our sala? 5.1 setup lang gagawin ko since sa open space ko lng ilalagay un AV at speakers.

Rti A3 or Tsi 300/400?    2.0 setup first then plan for 5.1 piece by piece later as budget allows.

Ok din ba ang Denon AVR-1912 para dito sa Rti?

I also have solid satisfaction with my RTi As powered by Onkyo and Yamaha for movies and music respectively.

Hey guys! I unearthed a Pioneer VSX 454 Stereo amp in some old stuff my dad left me. It's still working and I would want to try it out with my RTi A3's. How do I connect it? It has L-R Speaker connection, but I also noticed that it has a speaker connection that's labeled A-B for L and for R.
Can I use this with my RTi's?
I'll try connecting this configuration: Source->Yaqin CD2 -> Pioneer VSX 454 -> RtiA3

Hi JC, isn't the A-B for two pairs of speakers? meaning, speaker set A and set B

Do correct me if I'm wrong, researching on this forum has jumbled all my brain cells. @_@

Yun nga e.. I'm clueless.. hehehe..
I was thinking of this connection:
Amp (A) L -> RTi L (High)
Amp (A) R -> Rti R (High)
Amp (B) L -> Rti L (Low)
Amp (B) R -> Rti R (Low)
What do you guys think? Or should I just use the standard connection? Hehehe..

Use the standard connection just to be safe.. You can either choose your RTI as speaker A or B

Guys, update lang!
Ang ganda ng tunog with the RTi A3's. I'm comparing it vs the 509, manipis yung Onkyo. The Pioneer VSX454 is meatier, fuller yung sound but a little sharp yung highs even with the yaqin cd2 buffer.
Pero, at 25% on the volume knob, it's pretty solid sound from this old amp. I think this stereo amp is 120+W per channel.

Only thing is I think I have to have it cleaned inside and out. May mga erratic na crackle and hiss.
If you guys could suggest a place where I can bring this for cleaning, I would really appreciate it.

Galing ng RTi A3's.. Can't wait to test this with the Onkyo 809.. 21 more days to go!

@Courage: Kamusta waiting mo? Hehehe...

Bro, you have to also factor in the following:
1.) US Tax, this will depend where you will have it shipped in the US from Amazon.
2.) No Local Warranty, but I heard you can have it serviced here at a premium price.
3.) 110V, you would have to get a transformer or a Voltage Regulator with 110V.
4.) International shipping, not everyone can get their amp shipped for free. My family actually gave up a balikbayan box worth of possible pasalubong to bring this with them.

When you add all this, it may come out cheaper or more expensive in the long run. In my case, after factoring all these in, it came out cheaper. Kaya go ako.. and kaya tuloy, still waiting ako.. hehehe..

1. If it is shipped to California, how much dow you think the US tax will be? - let say I use the pobox shipping to deliver here in the PHL.
2. Yah, i think there's a service center for Onkyo electronics here in PHL.
3. Not so much problem with that.
4. For the international shipping I think the total cost will be less than 100$.

So, summing up with these fees and charges, it is much cheaper nga if you order in the Amazon. Hoping that the AV you get is in very good condition.  :) kelan ba dating ng sayo? ngaun kac the 809 is priced at 699$ eh. sana next year mejo bumaba na. hahah

Medyo OT.

Nagtanong ka na ba kay Marc of AVShop on the 809, baka sa best price nya sulit na sa US version with taxes, long term maintenance and shipping.

I would say a good sub, properly tuned, would do wonders for your system's SQ.  So it isn't just sars you might want to limit your budget for the sub to about the cost of the A1s :)

adding a sub would be a good option.. if you dont want to empty your pockets, try to audition a DIY subwoofer with your A1's and see if it suites your taste. ;)
