Yes, I miss VOOM-HD too. The programming was interesting an the picture quality (PQ) was superb. Last saturday they showed "Notting Hill" on HBO. It's PQ was head and shoulders above my original DVD. Julia looked delicious hehe... I don't get bills too, maybe it's free?

yung sa ken naman almost 6months na, hanggang ngaun alang billing forms/receipt, tumatawag lang sa bahay to inform na kelangan ng magbayad sa Metrobank,,,so far uninterrupted naman ang signal ng Cignal.

Bro, Oks naman ang C/S 9 sa amin, madalas nood ako dun ng boxing (The Main Event, Live Boxing) or yung Pinoy UFC, not a PBA fan though.

i'll check again my set. last friday the broadcast was crappy. but baka sa PBA na signal... can you check during PBA broadcast?

hehe star world ung hanap nila..yun kasi pinaka maaga mag play ng latest movies compared to other movie channel.. travel and living talaga deal breaker dito..kaya naman nila cguro idagdag yun..

FYI... yung PPV fight ni Pacman on Nov. 15 may bayad po sa Cignal...nde pa alam kung magkano and kung SD or HD broadcast...

just had my cignal standard package installed 2 weeks ago. the best channel for SD would be the CNN, for local it would be GMA7. Cartoon network, disney channel, HBO movies, BTV are acceptable but somewhat compressed. BTVs fast paced action on the court would annoy because of the compression. Worst local channels are 2, 4, 5, 9 though not necessarily unclear but a very good outdoor antenna specially if you are in Manila would beat the hell out of the compressed broadcast coming from Cignal for local channels.

probably using a smaller screen would somewhat make the compression more bearable. i am currently using a 42 inch HD ready tv.

but for 390 per month in a far flung area in cavite i cannot anymore complain.

specially when i see my youngest eyes lit, grinning ear to ear watching cartoons and those disney programs.

Congrats Bro on your new Cignal!. I'm also from Cavite, kaya kumuha din ako ng Cignal dahil yung cable company hindi pumasok sa phase namin dahil akala nila dadayain cable nila dahil yung iba sa amin duplex kasi. Buti na lang nag Cignal din ako dahil saya ng HD channels ;-) Enjoy!

btw, sinabi na sa akin yung price ng Pacman-Cotto PPV kaso hindi pa pwede i post, hindi pa official eh. masasabi ko lang, abot kaya naman

where you at in cavite? how's the fast paced action of BTV suits your screen, acceptable ba? there are other channels that i thought are quite compressed, really annoying pag nagpipixelize. i might upgrade to HD programs siguro pag kumpleto na HD channels.

do you think the cignal HD package is worth every cost? magkano nga ba? 900 per month right?

@ edrel- Gen Tri ako bro, malinaw naman sa amin, all channels, no pixellation, compression baka i report mo sa nag install ng Cignal mo. Sulet HD bro, 790/month kuha ko dati kaso ngayon after 8 new HD, 1290/month na, sulit pa din. Mas OK pag widescreen TV para sulet talaga.

@ kolokoy- Hehehe hayaan muna natin maging official, para sure, bka ma quote tayo ;-). Pero dun sa initial price, pwede na di ba, sa bahay ka pa at kasama family.

dapat tumama ka sa tamang longitude at latitude ng satellite. Totoong mahirap pag di technician nila kasi may tester sila.

Channel 49 for SD subscriber (PHP 350)

Channel 59 for HD subscriber (FREE!!!)

If those channels already showing the fight Poster, it's already activated on your STB, if not, you need to call your agent/dealer...

As you can see from the pics, all SD channels are clear and artifact-free, but CNN and Ch 7 are exceptionally clear. 2 nights ago they showed Transformers in HBO-HD and the quality was superb. I ordered Transformers 2 BD tuloy

@trigo- Bro checked last Sunday yung PBA sa cs/ 9, malinaw sya sa akin eh. I think you need to raise this to your installer.

@ kolokoy- Thanks for the PPV price update of the pacman-cotto fight. Yung sa akin SD ch 49 lang nakikita ko. Bayad muna ako ng 1290 para lumabas HD ch 59 :-)

Noticed that yung logo ng HBO in HD nakalagay na "HBO HD". so talagang pag true HD na, ipagmamalaki talaga yan ng content provider. May lumalabas na din sa mga new HD channels ng reminder na call Cignal to continue enjoying the channel, alam mo na ibig sabihin nun, it paying time! Wink

I noticed that on my avr, i get PCM instead of dolby even if the box is set to output dolby. Anybody getting different results?
