bro I'll have my cignal tv installed this Saturday dito Angeles pero SD kaso I really want the HD pero taas ng outright cash out. I'm planning is to get it then wait for the HD pero para magpaupgrade. Di Kaya mas mahalan ako nun kasi when I asked mga P6k+ daw to upgrade.

I'm thinking it might go down by next month ung HD package if I
upgraded it coming from an SD package. Pls help. Thanks

I am satisfied with the HD PPV of the Pacman fight. Malinaw nga parang ESPN ang quality. Best of all, Top Rank commentators at hindi sila Chino yey!, sayang hindi napakita ng top rank yung interview ni Larry Merchant ng HBO, bagal kasi umakyat sa ring ni Mario Lopez ng top rank eh. Kudos din sa Cignal, talagang iniiba-iba yung location nung card no. sa screen para malito din yung magtatakip na cable operator na balak mag rebroadcast. pinanood ko pa ulit nung 7PM, minus na yung mga irritating ad and cignal card no. na nag fa flash para ma detect yung rebroadcast.

Bro, ang alam ko default password ng settings is 1234 or 0000. after mo mapasok yung settings ng STB, para ma fix yung malaking space pag SD broadcast, you need to set your STB box settings to "stretch" and not pillar box when broadcasting SD channels, also kailanagn select mo 16:9. Then set your TV display to "full".

Sir Grimlock, yup 0000, hindi ko lang binasa yung manual, pero ayun nakita ko na nga, tapos hindi pa din nagpalit ng resolution, so accidentally, nag rearrange ako ng saksakan, so I unplugged it, after nun, pag on ko ulit ng STB okay na naka full screen na lahat! woot!

1. HBO-HD- True HD broadcast
2. History HD- True HD broadcast
3. Playhouse Disney- Upconverted
4. Star Sports- Upconverted
5. Star Movies- Upconverted
6. ESPN- Upconverted
7. National Geographic HD- upconverted, wrong aspect ratio
8. Sony Entertainment TV- Upconverted

May Cinemax ka pag nag avail ka ng HD subs w/ the new HD channels.

according to Cignal, may additional channels to come for HD & SD, so wait na lang muna.

still waiting for CIGNAL TV installers to come by our house. hopefully they really step up to the plate and be here today because my sked is actually 9am and its already 1pm I mean I cant wait the whole day, crossing my fingers that everything still fall to their right places this afternoon. On our way to your place na,then after 530pm,Sir ,Madilim na po at di natin kayan iinstall yan, gagabihin tayo at di po ciguradon makuha ang magandan reception.Pwede pon bukas na lan ng umaga. Then you wait again till 3 to 4pm in the afternoon tomorrow. They will arrive. Thats my experience. Hope you can share if its the same dialogue.

Bro, hindi pwede tanggalin yung Cignal logo dahil, station ID nila yan & to discourage signal re-broadcast by some cable TVs. Sanayan din naman, & besides translucent naman sya.

@ stud, bro call your agent, alam ko kasi pwede yung mag downgrade para HD nalang subs mo.

yung Channel 59 ang alam ko is available lang pag may PPV na ipapalabas, kasi yung akin nawala na din sa list of channels...

By the way, do you think Cignal Cable would somehow cater Internet Services in the near Future??

That is the irony with bundle subscription of any service, downgrading is not allowed unless your outside their lock-in period.

Still, haggle and raise your case baka ma-persuade mo sila. And talk to the Supervisor.

That is correct bro, NatGeo is now in Full HD yeesss!!!. The broadcast of NatGeo HD is in blu-ray quality, hopefully it will stay that way. The station ID logo is the familiar yellow rectangle with HD on the bottom and it is also translucent. Station Ads are in spectacular HD shots of bursting ballons, liquid spray, owl in flight, etc. and in slow motion to showcase the HD. voice over is also proud to say the "HD" word. The EPG of NatGeo HD is also updated and the programming is not the same with NatGeo SD, but some familiar programs are found e.g. air crash investigators, etc.
Compared to History HD, almost same quality although I noticed that History HD has deeper color broadcast, objects really pops out the screen. NatGeo HD is kinda light but still impressive HD broadcast.
Again, congrats to Cignal for giving another True HD channel!, hope more to come!

oo nga ang ganda ng NatGeo HD. since nag Cignal ako its like way back in time when I first watched on a colored TV set, haha ayaw mo na mag black and white!
