Naku sana walang problema ang pag apply, install and activate sa Taguig area. We're moving at the end of the month and I am leaning torwards getting Cignal instead of other providers.

At last na installed na din kanina ng cignal ung sa amin waiting na lang sa activation. hoping it wont take days i heard others only took several hours.

I wish kapag activated na eh sulit talaga ung pag shift ko from skycable kung saan ako ay 12+ years loyal subcriber.   

Bad trip lang talaga ako sa customer service nila dahil 3 beses na re-schedule ung pag install sa akin without advise from them. kung hindi pa ako tumawag hindi nila malalaman na walang dumating para mag install. Napaka hirap pang tumawas sa kanila!

whew!...Activated na din! Nakaka frustrate lang talaga ung experience ko sa pag-apply,install hanggang sa pag activate may pahabol na problema pa din. Muntik na talaga akong sumuko sa kanila dahil sa abala at sakit ng ulo.

the hd cignal box with old firmware has a buggy signal interpretation but when it upgraded its firmware, it can accurately interpret.  for those having new installation, pls. require or request that the installer have some kind of a signal measuring device aside from the one indicated on the box as this can greatly help them local the signal strength and quality accurately.  i had to learn this the hard way, but after i have it reoriented i have no problem whatsoever, only during very strong rain.

anyone got problem with their HD chanels? kasi ang HD chanels ko every few seconds mawala signal for 1 second. pero no problem sa Sd chanels. anyone have the same problem?

Additional boxes have different (lower) price compared to the 1st box. Their pricing is on their site www.cignal.tv.

Called their customer care hotline yesterday (mabilis ang pag sagot siguro kasi wala tumatawag dahil eleksyon) and since Plan 1290 they were asking for Proof of Income. Emailed the documents yesterday na din. Hopefully I will hear from them this week and schedule an installation date next week.

Clarify ko lang, the new rates sa site nila is 1,290 cash out for the Plan 1290 lease option. Dati kasi nung unang visit ko sa site nila eh almost 10K ang initial cash out lalu if you are buying the box. Now its 1290, and 230 (I think) for additional boxes for the lease option.

Yes, in my area (beside Fort Bonifacio) reception is clear. My initial cash outlay is around that too.

Actually, I'm always got confused with their package & payment options.... 

I just received my first bill statement. Cignal charges 2 mths in advance but I only need to pay one month only as during the initial cash outlay, 1 mth of subscription is included na.

From the statement it shows my payment options: thru BPI online, Metrobank & LBC branches. Is there any other option apart from this 3?

In my case it was quite fast the installation schedule, In fact the customer service called me up & asked which day/date/time do I prefer. Installation is quite fast & activation is within few hours after installation.

Im not so lucky with Cignal, applied oct 11 2010, installed oct 13 and activated oct 15 ng gabi, but i have to call them everyday which is very hard, average waiting time before u can talk to cs is about 20 to 30 mins

This is very true. For the past few days I tried calling them to activate my Pacquio PPV & each time I'd hang up if no response after 10 min. Finally today I could talk to a CS & to my dismay I need to sit in front of my TV to provide some signal info (I was in ofis)...hay I will have to try again tomorrow at home to call them...

mine is already activated last sunday at channel 70. they need to ask a lot of info, signal info, card id number and other info.

I think same lang mga signal anywhere in the philippines as long as walang naka block sa satellite disc pointing to the sky.

thanks for the reply. ang nakikita ko lang na possible problem ay yung customer service based sa mga previous posts na nabasa ko otherwise its a pretty good upgrade from conventional cable signal.

Mine is at 177 - 180 (75%) partida pa yan kasi nasa roofdeck yung satellite dish ko 5th floor, open space, lahat ng mga katabing bahay namin up to 2nd floor lang so open na open pero ganyan lang ang signal level ko, hindi man napupuno yung signal bar strength ko okay pa din naman.. No problems whatsoever (except pag may heavy rain na parating)

And oh, Activated na pala ang NBA Premium HD sa account ko. hehehe I was watching Celtics vs Heat kanina game opener, kitang kita maski pawis nila.. hehe. TRUE HD na talaga ang broadcast ng Cignal for their NBA Premium HD.. hehe.

just press the Guide button on the remote para po makita yung schedules ng NBA Premium Schedule of Games.. I checked it out and jampacked, mostly live games are in the morning and then replay na onwards.

+1 on NBA Premium HD, absolutely fantastic.   

Mas lalong naging sulit ang 1290 package because of this.  Just the 9 HD channels alone makes it all worth it.  Bonus na lang yung ibang channels.  Sa mga naghe hesitate pa, true customer service sucks but dont let that stop you.  We've had skycable/home cable for the longest time and simply, watching cable tv has never been more enjoyable with cignal than any cable provider we've tried.  Ang wish ko na lang mag improve yung interface ng cable box to better search/schedule capability like that of comcast.

simply, cignal is the best provider with the best compromise of content vs PQ. That is, at the moment, I know skycable will not go down fighting
