Sayang nga eh. Meron na ako dati contact # ng area partner nila. Sent them an email this morning and their partner sent me a text message na maiisched na yung installation after ma submit ko yung requirements.

It appears yung outsourced na CSR nila hindi naka sync sa mga process nila.

Bro kailangan mo ng another box. Kung split mo lang kasi yun hdmi or rca cable same yun channel ng dalawang t.v.

Just a heads-up to those planning to subscribe to cignal HD and is going to construct or buy a house.

If your house is/will be cable ready (built in cable outlet in every room). Please make sure that the splitter is accessible and replaceable. Apparently, Cignal requires a spliiter with a higher frequency.

We found out today that we cannot make use of the built in cable outlet. We have to make the cable passed through the opening of the sliding window in our room.

had our cignal hd installed last tues by vga

.audio quality from hd channels is superb..although,digital audio is only possible via the spdif optical out ng hd box.. maybe pre-hdmi 1.3 standard un hdmi out ng box..?

got activated today.

my impression on channel 2, the faces of people appears blurred. Watching NBA premium, my impression on the players are blurred also.

I got it hooked up to my samsung r32 series lcd using their pack in hdmi.

bro dun sa partner nila ikaw mag follow up then email mo yun documents na pinirmahan mo sa cignal. Yun sa akin dati sabi 48 hrs activated na, after 2days di pa nila na activate tinawagan ko sabi ko papa pull out ko yun unit pag di nila na activate ayun after 30 mins activated na.

after following up s cignal hotline ng application ko for almost a month n e s wakas nkabit n sya ngaun. un e after ko hingin s knila ung local partner nila s sta maria at ako n mismo 2mawag s knila. sana lng ma-activate agad ung acct ko..

anyway, tanong lng po ako kung pano baguhin ung clock s digibox? o un d n b mapapalitan un? minsan kc npapatingin ako tapos mali nakalagay n oras.. hehee..

Hi all, for those having problems with their cignal accounts, do try to post your problems in their facebook page.

Nagkaproblem kasi kami sa posting nung payment namin sa kanila availing nung 12months + 3 na advanced payment. After ilang customer service calls and emails, my wife decided to post in ther FB wall. Ayun, after a day, nagreply sa FB wall na ok na daw yung payment namin. I dont know if that did the job but it seems to work for us

1 week later d prin synch ung clock dahil d p activated acct ko..

nkailang follow up nko s hotline nila at isa lng sabe ng agent na sya n daw mismo magforward ng concern ko at expect ko within 24 hrs ung activation... kaso bwat twag ko un at un lng din sinasabe nila... haaaaaaay!

Website says 1K standard installation fee. Local partner is quoting 1.5K. Is this because I'm in the province? Subscribers in provincial areas please chime in...

After having my Cignal dish installed in my "Cavern," I finally found a reason to use my 3-year old Pioneer PDP -428XG Kuro regularly. It was sparringly used ever since I bought an Infocus X10, which I prefer for DVD/Bluray viewing. Here are my take on Cignal HD;

Pros
-very clear HD signal. 1080i output works best for my Infocus x10(1080p native resolution) and my Pioneer Kuro(768p).
-almost all important channels to me are included except ANC.

Cons
- only 2 channel stereo is available via HDMI cable. I read in this thread that Dolby Digital signal can be had thru the optical output. I still have to try this.
- stereo signal in HBO-HD, FOOD-HD and NBA-HD is not correctly balanced, it is more prevalent in the right channel. SD audio are OK though.

Net, I am so glad that not only have I now found a reason to use my Pioneer Kuro, it also shines in HD.

you are correct on the nba audio, there are some movies that are 5.1 especially on HBO.

re: the sound not being balanced on stereo, this is true even for 5.1 sound. in most movies (and sports events) where surround is available, sometimes dialog is coming from the left channel. there is rarely any movies where the surround decoding is spot-on, most of the times it's... well..off.

I'm using optical cable to output surround btw.

Emailed Cignal re unbalance sound. Did not recieve any reply. What could be a good reason for their lack of action on this problem? I'm pretty sure their engineers are aware of this by now.

To those who have gears to decode digital sound, this is indeed a big let down and a potential deal breaker when contract expires and is up for consideration for possible extension. $:-\$
