no, there is no recall on the process that they are doing. as i've said its a normal warranty. no wonder why their product has bad quality, they don't even have a proper tracking. how can do a recall if you don't know which one is affected?

Or maybe there's no need to determine which batches are defective because all of the remotes are just waiting for the opportune time to conk out on unsuspecting users, either because of bad design, shoddy workmanship, lack of quality control or crappy materials used -- or all of the aforementioned.

At least Cignal is doing something to address the remote problems. Sana paganda pa ng paganda service nila.
So far I me and my wife are very satisfied CIGNAL HD subscriber.

1. magbabayad ba agad ng 1290 + 230 lease for the extra box?
2. may bayad pa ba ang installation ng second box?
3. ilan ang lock in period for 1290?
4. pagkatapos ba ng pagbayad ng lease and natapos na lock in period matatapos nadin ang 230 per month na lease nito or continued pa po after nung lock in.
5. hindi naba talaga magkakarun ng jack tv sa 1290?
6. lastly kung may extra box ka 1290 parin plus yung 230 na lease ang babayaran?

Hi Guys! Im interested in the Cignal HD service. I called up the supplier in Pasig and was told that I need to pay an extra 100 for the wrapping fee daw (not sure?) . So for example for 1 tv, 1290 (+100 wrapping fee) so pag nag add ka pa ng isang tv 230 (+100). Sa initial cash out lang ata. HIndi ko kasi nakita sa website tong charge na to. Was planning on installing on my 2 LCD Tvs.

So my question is may wrapping fee ba talaga? Standard ba to? Sorry kung ibang term tawag nila. Hindi ko naintindihan kasi sabi kanina sa phone. Thanks in advance!

di naman siguro gift wrap yun. it should be 1290 and 230 for the second box plus install fee of P500 for the 2nd box only and materials to be used. Free lang po ang installation on the 1st box.

Fight will be shown instead in TV5 this Sunday. I believe LIVE feed din eto, that means free na viewing instead sa PPV channel

yun nga lang hindi HD pero at least malinaw pa rin.

If you have C Band, it will be aired in TVONE Indonesia channel.

to whom it may concern,

i wrote this email to complain a certain service regarding the amount to be paid for the installation of the postpaid 1290+230 (extra box). Im From mayantoc Tarlac. Here is my dilemma, when i first knew about your free cignal kit for plan 990 and 1290 i quickly inquired about it through the dealer here in mayantoc Namely joven (i dont know the surname) he said that the promo is ongoing until further notice that was 2 weeks ago and then by the time i was ready to pass my documents 3 days ago i ask him how much will i pay for the installation for the plan 1290 with 1 extra box he said it will be all in all 2000 (installation for both box with two satellite dish) and the 1290+230 for the 1st month deposit so all in all it the amount would be 3520.. By that time i hesitated already to pass my documents and what i did was i called your main office in manila and asked about if how much and the operator told me that it will only be 2020 for both installation o the 2 boxes and the 1st month deposit. so by that time i was really already confused because infos are getting inconsistent i knew that the main office told me the right amount because upon my search here in the cignal website the statement regarding the amount for installation for the boxes are clearly stated ( free 1000 worth of installation and only 500 will be paid for the installation of the 2nd box if done with the first) what i did was to finally call up cignal official partner here in tarlac for my final inquiry the same day ,i called them cause i thought maybe they are more convenient and hopefully coincides with the statement of the manila office. So i called infinireach a female answered my call and my queries and they told me the installation fee is 1500 less 1000 (advertised free installation)for the 1st box and 500 for the 2nd box, then 1520 for the 1st month deposit for the total of 2520 and to top that she told me that the last amount to be paid will be depending to the technician who will install the unit so that again i was hesitant to go to them and pass my requirments rather i told her that il call her back if im ready. So comes today after days passed i called infinireach to confirm the last amount to be paid and what are the requirments and to my dismay she told me that the amount will be 3200-1000(1000 free installation advertised) and 1520 for the 1st month deposit for the 1st and second box. i told her why after 2 days the amount suddenly jacked up and she told me "sir eto po kasi talaga sop namin kasi kakarating lang matrix namin" so i was like what the heck matrix? so to my dissapointment i didnt asked anymore inquiry and told her you guys are unbelievable for your inconsistencies and i politely said thank you hindi na po ako magpapakabit ng cignal. So this bring me to this email cause i want to know first hand whoever concerns about this issue should be dealt with and we consumers are really really annoyed about it actually there are total of 7 of us who are really willing to subscribed to your 1290 plan and since that till now we are not getting the plan cause of your distributors/dealers/partners inconsistencies on the pricing . Kumbaga parang nanloloko na po sila eh kasi walang silang isang salita. please grab a hold and better address this matter urgent kasi mawawalan kayo customer kung ganyan mga tao niyo. please enlighten me more and maybe il reconsider together with my friends to avail the plan. thank you

Installation fee for tarlac is say P1,500
Sample quote
Plan 1290
1st box:
P1,290 (advance 1month)+ P500 (installation fee)
2nd box:
P230 (advance lease fee) + P500 (installation fee)

Plus dc power pass splitter, dc block and f connectors.
This is using only one dish installed 2 boxes same day.

Again, please take note that installation fee may vary per location and materials to be used.
Quote above is Cavite rate, installation fees are dictated by factors like location, ease of instal.

BTW, HOT DEALS PROMO has been extended until Dec. 31, 2011

@thebat: yes, bill delivery is still a problem with cignal, LBC is the courier service for it.

reconnection is P100 only and yes, it is advisable for you to pay without the bill as long as you have your acct#
