@ pentium or anyone who knows,

im from Davao and meron lately nagbebenta Cignal kit nila kaya i wonder if posible eto,

if im already a HD subcriber and wanted to have a 2nd Box but add-on 230/mnth ay mabigat na, can i juz buy a second hand Cignal HD BOX to serve as my extension/2nd box and no more additional 230 monthly na? ipa install lang s distributor here.

@crazyhog: it will be more costly than getting a second box @ P230/month only.

using another box means another account and that would be another P1290 per month (your existing plan). you will end up paying two account per month rather than paying your existing HD plan and P230 lease only.

The 230/mo for a second box attached to your account is too cheap already. You dont pay for the box and it has the same channels as the main account.

Technically there should be no reason why you shouldn't be able to do this. I imagine though that the actual reason is that Cignal's subscription management system is not sophisticated enough to handle this.

On two occasions already, they were unaware (forgot) that we had two boxes. One box would be activated for a PPV but not the 2nd one.

yes, as long as you are using RG6 coaxial cable po.
you will replace the splitter with a DC POWER PASS satellite splitter if using multiple TV.

Ganda ng Pacquiao-Marquez III HD feed compared sa sd not only in terms of picture quality but because the screen of the sd feed was framed with so many advertisements so ang liit na ng actual video ng boxing. only drawback with hd (i don't know kung sa SD rin) e nawalan ng signal for a few seconds for about three times.

take note, HD audio on RCA/Composite connection has two channels.
each channel has different audio feed.

@pentium4 - may you please enlighten us again how pace hdbox remote control "RECALL kuno" works? you mentioned earlier that if it fails within 6 months then it will be replaced right? looks like walang kaalam alam ang mga taga cignal hotline about this. ayaw na magfunction ang remote ko so i called them about this and they will charge me Php 300 for a new remote. valid pa rin ba tong recall na to until now? thanks.

per cignaltv: remote control warranty is 1 month only, though it was 6 months before.
in case you will purchase a remote, it is only P132.00 not P300 as you mentioned.

delivery fee can be charged up to P300 but if pick up in dealer office, it should just be P132.00

thanks for the info. i just called shantel now and they will charge me P350. P50 for the delivery. btw i have pace hdbox, P132 rin ba price ng remote? kung pwede lang na sa yo mag order? pwede kaya? how much ang delivery charge if pwede? i am from muntinlupa, 1 km away from alabang. thanks again.
