hi boss pentium4,

I'm happy with the additional SD/HD channels but please clarify why ESPN HD is not available for Plan 990 when they are advertising it as part of the "13 HD Channels" for Plan 990. Then now they're saying that it's part of Plan 790? It doesn't make sense.

channels on plan is still undergoing adjustments
expect full corrections in a week.

will update with info once received, so far that is the plan790 info.
and since ESPNHD is part of it, all HD channels are carried over to the higher plan.

Sana ibalik din yung BIO channel and magkaroon ng CINEMAONE (which is impossible

Thanks, sir for the info. Hope we can confirm soon if the above HD channel line-up for Plan 790 is correct because, with the additional SD channels, it's a very attractive plan.

yan yung nadagdag, kung mahilig sa ka sa documentary worth it, lalo na yung History HD. saken kasi NBA Premium Tv lang pinapanood ko sa umaga. antay lang baka nag eexperiment lang sila sa 790 kung marami mag uupgrade pero kung kaunti lang baka ibaba nila mga yan HD channels sa plan 590hd.

actually aside from History HD, I also like Discovery Channel (Mythbusters fan here) kaya nakaka-tempt magpa-upgrade.. nakaka-1 month pa nga lang ako sa plan 590HD eh, so 2nd free month pa lang ako ngayon..

question sa mga naka-subscribe na, is History really on HD or upscaled SD lang? Mas panalo kasing manuod lalo na nang Pawn Stars kung HD

As of this writing, the PQ of History Channel is the same as Al-Jazerra, E Channel and BeTv. Those channels are transmitted as SD but with 16:9 format. Unlike Nat Geo Adventure HD where you can instantly notice the PQ, History Channel did not even come close to 720p.. No amount of tweaking can change the PQ unless Cignal source it from HD transmission. And as Patrick001 pointed out, no "HD" letters is present in the History Channel logo..

History HD is not yet in HD form

I believe, they were granted the broadcast rights already but they currently have the SD version to start with. they will move with the HD format once available.

o How long is the warranty of the STB?
o Is there a service charge involved when I request for one of my STBs to be replaced because it is already malfunctioning (hangs, suddenly powers off, wrong date so there's no schedule appearing in the guide)?

o Is there a service charge involved when I request for one of my STBs to be replaced because it is already malfunctioning (hangs, suddenly powers off, wrong date so there's no schedule appearing in the guide)? if it is defective and under lease, it will just be replaced no fee except for delivery/service fee for more than 6 months account.
