I received my billing from Cignal, and I noticed meron na uli ako monthly. I availed of the 6+1 promo, so I asked Cignal to clarify if na-apply na yung free month ko. They were able to answer my question, with a schedule when the 6+1 was applied. So I'm thankful.

Pero on the same day I sent that inquiry, they downgraded my plan 1290 to local channels only! Parang ang onti na lang nang channels, puro local na lang, and meron Cignal channel, and HD PPV. What happened?! It can't by my new LNB, kasi pati yung Channel Lineup menu nagbago. Konti na lang ang listed.

It gives the impression that they temporarily suspend normal service for accounts that have pending inquiries or being contested. I find this to be business in bad faith! Nag advance payment na nga, eto pa ang nangyari. Buhay naman.

your account is downgraded sir and you are correct why...

Dami complaints sa subs namin na postpaid, walang recive na bill tapos downgraded na.
Unable to pay bill kasi wala naman nadating na billing. Hayyyzzz

I will file complaint to DTI and NTC. Paid na until Feb 10 on plan 1299. Bad faith on Cignal's part to downgrade when subscription is still live.

@pentium, meron ba IR port input un HD boxes (PACE) for remote control extender? plan to use one CIGNAL box on my tv and PJ na nasa adjacent rooM

hi folks have you notice the fox sporsts HD channel signal reception? from time to time it shows some distortion image about one minute interval and it's really annoying to the point i don't tune anymore on that channel.

How much ung service? Cause as per our current installer, they are asking for P1500 for the relocation of our satelite dish.

the ts is addressing it to cignal in which this is not cignal or nobody from cignal reads this. how can it be remedied if subs will not call cignal direct?

transparency in any product is okay... but a bad service or product needs to be known by the owner for them to fix it otherwise you are barking at the wrong tree.

sir.. wala kase kame sa bahay for 2 months and since di ko mababayaran yung 2 months masususpend yung account for those months [mawawalan ng channels]..

question if bumalik kami sa bahay do i have to pay those 2 months? 2 months transmission of local channels only?

sir p4, ask ko lang po difference between 1080i at 1080p po?kasi ang binibigay na signal ng HD box ko ay 1080i eh ang tv ko po is 1080p. may malaking difference po ba yun? 32" po HDTV ko.

If I may answer the question... AFAIK, No satellite tv provider today transmit their HD channel in 1080p due to bandwidth issue as 1080p is twice as much as 1080i. If you want to watch in 1080p, BD and NMT are way to go..

Is it possible to subscribe to satellite services from HK, TW, MY and other SEA nations? Or even FEN (US Military's Far East Network)?

as long as the satellite TV providers satellite footprint is covering your area, you can receive those channels using their respective STB.

@remixx: 1080i is the only available reso for now, it will take time for the 1080p without the right compression in order to reduce bandwidth. with a 32" 720p will do.

pure 1080p is only available in BD format, 1080p in NMT is like 720p quality lol..those so called HD that came from satellite and cable providers are not really true HD aka low bit rate..

When I play a BDMV file of "Battleship" on my NMT, it has a 1080p reso..

comedy din tong cignal...

nag apply ako cignal 790...so submit ako ids and proof of billing(meralco) last moday..

lo and behold, nag text sakin this morning...declined ang application ko insufficient amount ang proof of billing

sabi ko ano magagawa ko kung PHP 850 lang meralco bill ko last january? bwiset...ayun pinadalhan ko na lang payslips haha
