@Pentium: question, now that we have Fox Premium HD on 590 and up, do we get a privileged to use Fox Premium Play?

I know it says on the site that its only for 1290 and 1590, but maybe it's not yet updated.

new channels are still under monitoring, adjustments and corrections will be made of course.
so far so good, the hd channels are at par with the other old hd channels.

kudos cignal for the upgrade...
looking forward for more hd channels for the 990 and above plans...

@bismaky - i think it has something to do about the way your tv deinterlaced the 1080i signal coming out from your STB box. Sa mga modern samsung tvs they have this feature w/c they call it "film mode" w/c at default setting has been turn OFF that thing should be turn ON either in AUTO1 or AUTO2 but AUTO1 is the most approriate. This feature is available if you are receiving a 1080i signal coming out from your STB box. Now if your TV doesn't have this feature you might as well set your STB resolution to 720p yung nga lang nasa 720 resolution ka lang. But if your TV has motionflow i thk this would help.

by the way CIGNAL thank you again for those 2 additional HD channels(FOX Action & Comedy Central) w/out additional charges to us. I was wondering about that ethernet port at back of my STB box do you guys have any future plans about this ethernet port like offering us a broadband service?

Cignal HD boxes are available for IPTV use.
that is designed for MDU, condo, hotel, and even residential units with fibr or fast DL speeds like 3-5MB at least.
in this way, no need to install dish. signal is sent thru the LAN cables instead.

wow..does CIGNAL has that service? though CIGNAL is a subsidiary of PLDT and has fibr services does CIGNAL tap into this technology?

yes, it is working already. have seen it work 2 years ago, the limitation is the dsl speed that is why it took a while to be implemented.

I believe pldt fibr has offered it as add on service.

it will be launched officially soon.

Actually, Cignal has only one religious channel, EWTN. The others, ZOE (Light TV), INC TV and UNTV are free to air TV Stations that they are required by Law to carry. kulang pa nga e since they still dont have 3ABN/Hope and SMNI channels 39 and 43.

What they lack are religious Cable channels such as TBN, Church Channel, Smile of Child, HCBN, JCTV, God TV and, TV Maria.

Not really. But I guess, Cignal does not want trouble. i dont know if there is really a Satellite/Cable tv provider that has Adult content channels. We do have a highly regulated broadcast TV industry care of the MTRCB

Binili ng in laws dati yung cignal kit more than a year ago. Kanina, yung anak ko nagkaroon ng difficulty watching nba premium. Pag tawag ko sa hotline, matapos ang mga pinagawa, sabi sa akin magpapapunta daw ng tech pero may bayad. Ganon ba yun? Pag nagkadifficulty ang sub e may bayad na kasi out of warranty na daw stb. Nagbabayad na magkaroon ng pinapanood tapos kailangan ng tech support ng sub ay pagbabayarin pa ulit? Hindi ba kasama sa subscription fee ang support kung nagkaproblem ang subscriber?

installation workmanship warranty is six months only (AOG not included)
unit warranty if bought is one year for the cignal kit

after the six months period, service call visit fee applies.
if all things work according to plan, you should not need any service call support.
like in middle east wherein once installed, it lasts for more than 2-3 years since there is no typhoon.
but here, we have weather disturbance and the likes that affects the outdoor unit. thus, the need for service.

@jasper: cash outright still available but on prepaid accounts only.
2nd and 3rd are also not available in cash. thru lease only.
