Kasi ABS-CBN owns Skycable and they dont give direct feed(digital) of signal to Cignal. So ang binobroadcast na signal ng Cignal ay ung over-the-air lang which is analog.

Been a cignal subscriber for 2 days ( switched from Sky) and im very happy so far. Kaya lang nawalan ng signal for 15mins nung umulan. I hope hindi madalas mangyari ito. Im on plan 790, binan, laguna area.

Any work around para mapalakas? At wala ba talagang "return to previous channel" button ang remote?

I'm assuming you are using the PACE hd box. Sound from stb is really low, thats normal. My work around is to maximize the volume on the STB and I'll just control the volume on the TV or HT.

For the "return to previous channel", the button would be the cancel button, the one with X on it.

And lastly for the signal interruption, expect more this rainy seasaon, but bumabalik naman agad. ung na experience mo na 15 mins matagal na un. sometimes kasi it took only 3-5 mins then oks na ulit ang signal (based on my experienced, I'm near Tagaytay).

I'm on Plan790 also (4 Months already)

sana yung pace hd box ma'y RF Out so that i could use my HDTV's tuner, ganda kasi ng interface and meron smart features such as S-recommendations. I'm sorry i found it lame yung channel guide interface sa cignal then lastly masyado yata judder ang mga images galing sa STB.

If yes opaque ba siya or solid? Kasi if solid kakatakot as a plasma user.

Yes all channels of Cignal has logo on it. Its opaque and its position depends on every channel. I think this is just another way of advertisement of Cignal, sample is pag may visitor ka they would first notice that logo hehehe.

it is more of a security feature, not really an advertising tool.
since many local cable tv are "re broadcasting" channels illegally.
this feature will allow Cignal to "finger print" a particular box and disable it to avoid illegal rebroadcasting.
that is why you sometimes see, alpha numeric appearing on your boxes. it is unique per box.

Hey, why not display the logo for 10 seconds every 15 minutes? It's not really necessary to do it all the time. We as customers deserve to have the most convenient way of watching. Like Now TV in Hong Kong, you should just display your distracting logo that fills up the screen for 10 seconds every 15 minutes. (Adjust the time if you want) Please, submit this suggestion to your superiors, pentium. Because this logo is the one holding back some consumers from availing a Cignal TV subscription.

watch it... I'm not an employee of CignalTV.
If you have better suggestion and the likes, go send it direct to them. as we subscribers has suggested long ago.
but, having the logo on channel is a lame excuse for not availing such.

Personally, I dont watch TV just to look into the logo... may it be star world, fox etc.
I look for the content and my plasma TV does not have a burn in logo for the past 2 years.

Plasma user here. 3 years Cignal subscriber. There is no burn in problems with my Cignal TV viewing kahit babad ang NBA channel.
Regarding the logo, I don't notice it anymore. Displaying the logo for 10 seconds every 15 minutes is just pure absurdity! Lalo lang nakakailang yun kse on and off parang christmas light yung logo. NO!

I've been a Cignal subscriber for a couple of months now (switched from Skycable :D). I also agree that, after a while, you'll get used to seeing the Cignal logo on-screen. Di naman obtrusive. To each his own, I guess. But no regrets with the switch at all. Plan 790.
We deserve better.

Sorry, Pentium. I just wanted to make a point. I know we are not on tv to look at the logo. But that's why it should be removed. If your tv is full of logos how could you get the full experience of watching the program? Again I am sorry for being demanding.

Hindi naman nakakadistract yun. Mas nakakadistract Kung naka on all the time. Best of both worlds, diba.

Actually nung una nakaka ilang talaga. Pero ngayon nasanay na rin ako. It's true kung tatanggalin would be best. Kaya lang nga as explained, it's Cignal's way of securing their product. Unless we get hold of the owner of Cignal, magtiis na lang tayo dun. Anyway, there are other alternatives naman.

Cignal's no logo channels:

1. Aksyon tv
2. TV5
3. Colours
4. Hyper

They (TV5) gave away Cignal STB (channel locked) for free to small town CATV. And for Colours and Hyper, they charged a small monthly subscription..

Any explanation why the picture quality of National Geographic sucks? All other channels are OK (except abs-cbn, studio 23 and we all know the reasons for that.)

hindi naman talaga totoo full hd signal galing sa mga cable and direct sat provider but im learning to leave with it a 720p image okay lang...dont talk to me about 1080i coz its pangit to much judder on the image. Since its only a 720p content so i just watch my cignal's content on a small screen yung 32 inches lang na lcd screen. I dont use my 64 inch. na plasma for cable viewing.

I dont see any material from any provider declaring full HD on their content.
including CignalTV.  it is 720P but it is still HD.

I am referring to nat geo and not nat geo HD. Compared to other SD channels, Nat Geo really sucks.
