Guys inquire ko lang if there is such device to convert the COAX audio out of our Cignal boxes to Toslink/Optical out? Wala kasing Toslink/optical out yung Cignal box namin. And my home theater only has Toslink/optical audio in. Thanks in advance!

Alam ko dati meron parang ganyan sa cdr king. Sa cdr king trinoma ko nakita sa big store nila. Di ko lang binili.

 dolby sound coming out from our cignal stb is not really that snappy it might not a real dolby surround becoz all of my surround spkrs are always activating on the whole sound spectrum thus my surrounds spkrs. is also acting as a main front spkrs. and its kinda strange coz my AVR is indicating that the source is outputting a dolby sound WTF, so with that situation i instead manually switch my AVR to pro-logic and boy it's sound better. well my lease contract w/ cignal will end this august and i have no plans to continue it, few hd channels available for my 1590php plan, no rf out in the stb box so cant use my tv hd tuner sayang ang 64e8000's tuner ganda pa naman voice activated and lastly huh beat it, its not really a full hd source upscaled lang yata from a 720p and worse some are upscaled from 480p. well so much for that maybe i''ll try skycable one of these days.

As per pentium's reply before, rf out (for boxes that has them) does not function that way. It functions like a splitter where you can plug in another box for another TV. And I dont think any STB will have that function. Otherwise, everyone can have their signal output from RF then use a splitter to split the signal to all TVs in their household including their neighbors.

Only Fox Movies Premium is in true dolby digital. Other HD channels, your AVR would indicate it as DD but the audio that you will hear is not. And yes, turning the Dolby in the stb off and settling for Pro Logic is a better compromise.

 Had this problem too, so what I did is I had my audio go out via the HDMI. And on my TV, it has an optical out. From there i plug it on my AVR.
Not sure if all TVs have optical out, but im confident it does. Our 5yo samsung tv has one. The downside is, on older tvs, the gets downgraded to stereo. it can not send the audio via optical in Dolby. But the newer ones will and it can send audio via optical in dolby.

anybody here experiencing intermittent weak signal for the past 3 days from muntinlupa area? cloudy kasi for the past 3 days kaya di ko masabi kung ano talaga ang problem. bigla kasing ganyan yong 2 paceHD boxes ko. dati naman kahit makapal ang cloud, raining or bumabagyo pa, walang problem. baka kasi kelangan na ng realignment ng dish or replacement ng LNB.

thanks for the info. mukha ngang hindi cloud ang problem. ngayon clear sky and sunny pero naglalaro ng 40-20-0 ang SQ. i just power off my main stb pag on ko stable na at di bumababa ng 60 with BER 40-50E-7. then after more than 30 mins balik na naman yong intermittent weak signal. then power off ulit ok na naman sya.

@panzimus - actually naitawag ko na last wed pa para may record ako in case mag-apply ako ng rebate. pinahold ko lang muna yong pagpunta ng tech kasi sabi under monitoring muna.
